Visit local streets where we see, taste and shop for cheese, cured meat, fruits, sweets and spices in markets of colour, scents and noise. Taste olives, oil and honey from a farmer and local wine made on site.
4.00pm tours will see ΜΟST of the market as it starts to close. Sundays the markets ARE SHUT so we visit a taverna and eat traditional food with ouzo and local wine. Visit a delicatessean and a spice shop and a producer of olive oil and honey. You will also enjoy Greek coffee and yogurt from a local producer.
20+ tastings offered including sit down meals of meat and fish on all tours. Learn about Greek culture and meet with the locals.
Vegetarian, vegan, GF options available. Vegan not available on Sundays.

A great introduction to Greek food, and some locals only sites of Athens. Tour guide was knowledgeable and organized a lovely walk with stops.. great eats / drinks. Learned a lot about Greek culture. Definitely recommend!

A friend had recommended this tour when I told her I was going to Greece and I am so glad she did. Voula, our guide, was excellent. We learned about the culture that was tied to the foods we ate. We sampled so many different things and every one was delicious. We sampled spanakopita, halvah, olive oil, honey, portokalopita, Greek coffee, feta, among other foods. The pièce de résistance was the taverna where we had meze (small plates) and ouzo. What a great day and a great time we had! I loved every minute!

Amazing tour. Rachel and Mike went out of their way to make sure my sister and I made the tour. We were late due to a flight delay and they helped us join the tour and then made us feel so welcome. At each stop we tried a new food and learned about the ingredients, harvesting or preparation of the food we were eating. The food was plentiful, we were so stuffed we came home with a doggy bag.

Our guide was spectacular! She we tried so many different types of food. We went to an Olive store, a honey place and the meat and seafood market. We had so many samples and sat down to a feast of appetizers. It was absolutely wonderful. Well done!

My family of 4 had a wonderful time on this tour. The food was yummy and we left full! The spanakopita we had was the very best I’ve ever had. We have two boys, ages 6/10 and they also tried most things. Our guide was great.
