Cenote diving is accessible starting with level 1 or Open Water Divers.
You will dive in easy access caverns with all the specific diving material provided (lights, 5 mm wetsuits...) Tours are given respecting the highest levels of security with ample space, always close to one of the exits and numerous air holes. You will have permanent visual contact with natural light. We went to Car wash cenote and Casa Cenote and we really enjoyed the diving!! It was incredible diving inside a cavern (not a cave), meeting old trees, rocks, turtles and a crocodile too! Our instructor was very friendly and funny and we felt safe in every moment. He also told us many stories and useful informations about cenotes and Mayan culture. Absolutely do not miss it!

I dived with another Frenchman. Our guide Martino is top notch. He speaks at least 4 languages: Italian, French, English and of course Spanish. Small safety summary before dives. Explanations of the signs with the lamp 🔦 torch for diving in caves, because inside there is no light. The first "car wash" cenotes, very funny explanation of the name, people used to wash their cars 🚗 in them. We saw lots of fish, different breathtaking lights, cool cave. This first magnificent dive in this cenote also allowed us to balance our diving, personally it was my first in a cenote. This one was half fresh water and half sea water. Then direction Casa, there just as magnificent, deeper dive, 14m, and in the cave we were able to see fossils, Mayan inscriptions... again magnificent lights between both. Fish, little turtles... "Amazing". Most always water is available and a cereal bar. In addition, respect for nature, no sunscreen, do not touch rocks... The goal is to preserve nature as much as possible and not damage anything. In short, a unique experience with an excellent guide Martino

Diving in the Mexican Cenotes was a total blast, and a big shoutout to our awesome guide: MARTINO! We're certified divers but were a bit rusty, and the refresher we got was top-notch, way better than our original course. We explored two cool cenotes, Casa Cenote and Dos Ojos, with Martino giving us the lowdown on each spot. There were snacks, plenty of laughs, and good vibes all around. If you're heading out for a dive there, definitely hit up Calypso Dive Center and ask for Martino – you won't regret it!

The best diving experience of my life. I hadn’t gone diving in over 10 years so was a bit nervous for this dive but I really wanted to scuba dive in the cenotes. After much research I decided to go with Calypso as everyone mentioned how safe they felt, how the instructor took time to explain everything etc. I can confirm that I made the right choice. My instructor, Bebe, was outstanding. He explained everything in detail and answered any questions I might have. We started with a refresher dive at Casa Cenote, an open cenote with a small cave passage, it was the perfect way to get back into diving and feel how comfortable I was, as it was my first time diving with a flash light in a dark area. It was an amazing experience and I was looking forward to our second dive at Dos Ojos. Words cannot describe this dive, the feeling of being underground in fresh water surrounded by hundred years old stalactites and stalagmites, the colors of the light shining through the rock, it was all wonderful and a unique experience. I kept thinking how lucky I was to be able to see this. All I keep thinking now is how I want to explore more cenotes! Thank you so much to Bebe for your professionalism, your enthusiasm and your patience.

Amazing experience diving with La Calypso Dive Center. We dived in Casa and Car Wash centoes, both dives lead in a super professional manner. We enjoyed it very much and should we come back to Mexico, we will definitely dive with La Calupso.
We have done two reef dives with the dive center at the resort where we stayed. What a waste of money and time, disorganised and boring. No comparison to La Calypso.

The 2 tank cenote dive with La Calypso Dive Center was an incredible experience!
I would recommend this dive to any diver who has some experience and wants to see some incredible rock and cave formations in crystal clear water.

Absolutely incredible experience! The 2-tank centoe dive with La Calypso Dive Center blew my expectations out of the water. One of the better diving experiences I have had.

Bebe’s a thoroughly experienced dive master, and great lead. Very organized, personable, and fun. Just don’t get sand on anything (lol). I would absolutely dive with Calypso again. The dives were incredible.
