Leaving Madrid at 3:00 pm, we’ll drive for around an hour to Segovia. A brief walking tour through the old city to admire the Roman Aqueduct, the inside of the Gothic Cathedral and a guided visit the outside of the Alcazar fortress, one of the most spectacular castles in Spain. until the return time.

The site is worth visiting, great history and architecture. This was an afternoon short tour so we didn’t get the best experience, we really have to rush, and so did have to do the guide. We missed lots of historical facts and cruise through many other. I definitely recommend to take a full day tour instead.

The highlights of this tour were the beautiful cathedral and the aqueduct. As others have noted, this is a quick tour of Segovia so you will not have a lot of free time to explore on your own. We basically walked through the city , went into and toured the cathedral and then went home. However , if you don’t have a ton of time , this is a great way to at least get a flavor of the city and take some pictures and learn a little about its history. The tour was in both English and Spanish . Would have been better and more efficient if it had been in only one language.

Great deal! Is a little too fast, but you get the most important visiting points out of the time you have. The service is great, the tour guide is kind, and they are right on time! Didn’t have time to try the “cochinillo”

Too little time in Segovia. Visiting the Cathedral really shortened our time.
Guide very nice but did not feel she paid enough attention to the pace of her group.
Public Banos closed. Sending us off to find them in restaurants not very well thought out.

This was not a good tour. It said it was an English tour, but ended up being English and Spanish. That meant twice as long talking, and since there was more people speaking Spanish, she spent most times speaking Spanish. I was under the impression we were going to have around three hours of free time we had a hour and 30 minutes free time, the guy told us to be back at the bus at 6:15. My wife and I got back at 10 minutes after six. We were the only ones there the tour guide came at 6:40. If I would’ve known, we had another 20 minutes I would not have been in such a rush getting back. And we still waited another 10 minutes on other people.

The tour is far too rushed. No time to have a drink and enjoy the surroundings. Plus the tour guide didn’t wait outside the castle as promised and so we had to find our own way back to the bus.

I would not do this tour again. I’m rating it a 3 because our tour guide was so nice, informative, and amazing. However, the company’s handling of this tour was not good. We had an afternoon tour at 3pm and we were to merge with another tour that was coming from Toledo. The tour office refused to let us use the bathroom when we arrived to the offices 15 minutes early for that exact purpose. They had no solution and we had to run to a bathroom somewhere else and then run to get our seats on our hour-long bus ride. They rushed us on the bus and then made us wait 30 extra minutes because the other bus was running late. This resulted in a tour marathon, where we barely had time to use the bathroom and had no free time as opposed to having 30 minutes of free time as the tour indicated. Only good thing about this tour was our tour guide.

Well organized, informative and fun! This was not something we would have done on our own, so the group tour was the way to go. Beautiful city, learned a lot and had time to sample local goodies. Worth it for sure!

Seeing the city, the Roman Aqueduct, the Cathedral. I think a longer and more detailed visit would have been better, if time had allowed. I also would have liked more information about the countryside between Madrid and Segovia.

Segovia is a charming town but this tour needs to expand to a full day. No time to enjoy old town for even an ice cream or coffee - barely time to take a photo if you wanted to keep up. Guide should have warned at the cathedral of long up/downhill walk. No rest facilities available during entire trip - bus should have stopped at a rest area in both directions. Also, the bus was dirty.
