Explore the rainforest on a journey full of history and natural gems. Drive yourself to meet your guide in Fajardo, where you'll follow your guide into El Yunque Rainforest.
Visit the East side of El Yunque Rainforest and enjoy a 30-minute hike to the first waterfall. Admire the landscape, swim, rope swing, or free dive from multiple heights.
Further up after a 15-minute hike, there is another watering hole with a waterslide and cliff jump into the river. Learn about the rainforest’s history, iguanas, guava trees, bamboo, and century-old trees.
This adventure is ideal for nature lovers seeking an authentic Puerto Rican rainforest experience. Good physical condition is required; the hike is natural, very muddy, and fun.
Transportation not provided. No Uber or taxis allowed. Please wear closed-toe shoes such as sneakers, water shoes, or hiking sandals; NO flip-flops, slide in, crocs or any open toed shoes .

Tour guides were amazing had an amazing experience going to el yunke it is a beautiful place to visit if your in PR and love hiking

This was worth every penny. Make sure you put on some good walking shoes that you want to throw away because you will be dirty. The tour guides are so helpful. I’m no little woman and I was able to do it and I loved every minute of it…Be prepared to be muddy. But have a great experience.

I had the best experience here, hands down 10/10! Definitely recommend wearing comfortable shoes that has grip cause it gets really really slippery. Other than that you’ll be great hands tour guides were awesome. Shout out to brian he was the best tour guide ever literally! Definitely a must do again .

Bryan is an amazing guide, he is kind, patient and informative. Some on the group were slower than others or a bit scared but he made you feel so safe. It was a blast!! Thank you for an amazing first in PR ❤️

Our tours guys were awesome (Sebastian, Fabian & Joel ) really helpful, enthusiastic and their vibes was honestly the best. It was a beautiful experience they took their time helping us climb, demonstrating each part of the forest from hiking to the water slide etc. The driver as well (Mario) very professional and patient got us safe and in time to our destination. Honestly is a beautiful experience with connecting how beautiful nature is.

This was such a cool experience! The guides Fabian, Joel, and Sebastian were super helpful and made it such a fun tour. Shoutout to our bus driver Mario for navigating the mountain roads so well!

Sebas, Fabián, Mario, and Joel were all amazing tour guides! They made sure everyone was safe and my friend, who didn’t know how to swim, felt very comfortable and safe with them! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone that was to explore the rainforest.

Absolutely loved this experience. It was so much fun taking a dip in the water through the rope and jumping off the rocks into the water. The highlight was sliding down the volcanic slide! Our guides were also extremely helpful (served as handy dandy phone holders) & ensured our safety at all times!
