Zurich has a beautiful, historic old town. Many of the buildings are several hundred years old. In small, private groups, we, two local residents, will guide you for about two hours through winding alleys and cosy squares, right across the old town on both sides of the Limmat river. We will visit places where you can feel the rich history of the city and which can only be reached via special access.

Alexander was an excellent guide. He is a resident of Zurich's old town neighborhood which made the tour even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zurich.

We had an amazing tour of historic Zurich with Alexander. He resides in this district and shared so much interesting information about the history, culture, and government of Switzerland as well as many interesting anecdotes of important people who have lived here. Our walking tour took us through old town, the university area and along the river. It was fun to see all the young students, residents of the city and fellow tourists and learn more about life in Zurich. The two hours flew by and we learned so much! Alexander is a great listener as well and customized the tour when possible to match our interests. He made excellent suggestions of restaurants, things to do and places to visit during our stay. It was a perfect introduction to Zurich and Switzerland and we highly recommend the Historic Tour of Zurich with Alexander. Thank you SO much Alexander!

What a great way to spend a spring afternoon in Zurich. We learnt so much about the history of the old town, the original use of the many beautiful buildings and also about the lives of the old city inhabitants. Our tour included a cable car ride up to the university where we learnt about the many learned famous former students. Alexandro was a fountain of information and happy to take questions from the group. We found him a very knowledgeable guide and a charming warm person. He was generous with his time also.. We would highly recommend this tour - we now know so much more about the history of this wonderful city.

Lots of insider information and local recommendations that we appreciated.
If you would like to have a quick tour of the old town, this is perfect.

We ended up having a private tour, which was awesome. Alex extremely knowledgeable about Zurich and took us to areas we would otherwise not have ventured. Definitely worth the money. I learned a lot and really enjoyed the adventure!
