It was a great trip and I would like to thank the team to make it so easy for a solo traveler.

I have travelled at many places, all alone. This was my first travel with tour company because I wanted to make Machu Picchu Happen. But it went just so smooth.

A WhatsApp number, whole journey planned, every ticket purchased, pick and drop for everything connecting and so on.

Would really like to thank all the people because everyone I met have been very polite and down to earth in Peru as well as from the team which arranged it.

This will be a very special trip.

I had a very good experience with this agency from beginning to end. Someone was always available to answer my questions quickly by phone or their website chat. I was picked up on time and our guide Wilfred was very knowledgable and his English was very good. The hotel in Machupicchu was very clean but very simple. Breakfast was very good. They do offer hotel upgraes, but since you really only need to spend one night and you are out to visit Machupicchu early morning, we opted not to upgrade. Since this tour went so well, I decided to book the rest of my Peru tours with Machupicchu Center. The service and tour guides were equally good in all cities but specially in Chachapoyas, our guide Sheila was one of the best local guides. I also was able to book my covid test with them last minute and got back to the USA with no issues.

Katherine was so, so amazing to deal with!! I chatted with her on-line numerous times, asking many questions, and she was always patient and offered advice. Our group of four booked the 2 Day/1Night Sacred Valley trip from Cusco the Machu Picchu. We are so excited to go on this trip, and might have gone with a different company if Katherine wasn't so incredible. She made the difference in being worried about the trip to feeling relaxed and being excited. Will comment again upon our return. Thank you Katherine!!!

We have just returned home after completing a South America holiday which included a visit to Machu Picchu, organised and executed by Machu Picchu Centre. We did the 2 day-1 night tour of Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley, as well as a half day tour of Cusco and surrounding attractions. All the arrangements were excellent, and we were very impressed with their professionalism.

The pre-trip booking process was especially good with prompt replies, confirmations of all arrangements, detailed itineraries, sending all tickets and coupons to us, and quick corrections of minor errors.

The trips themselves also went very smoothly - the transport vehicles were very good and comfortable, the drivers drove cautiously, and the guides were excellent, giving us a lot of information and help. We were also happy that they were able to postpone our Cusco tour by a day, at the last minute, because my wife had injured her foot.

We thank them for a superb service, and wish them all success in the future.

To book everything for Machu Picchu is a time consuming process and when we started to count on it, the cost wasn´t very much higher to book with a company. We called the office and talked to Frank who spoke English perfectly, he took his time explaining everything to us and booked everything over the phone. This was the best decision ever because we on the phone and what´s up with him all the time when we got problems.. At the end of the tours first day when we were about to take the train to Agias Calientes, Frank send us a message that the train has stopped running due to weather conditions.. Most of the tourists found this out when they got to the train station... Frank was on the phone for several hours to get the information and called us again at 7 pm when the trains started running again, so we could get to the station again and change our tickets. This way we didn´t have to stand in the line for hours the next day..
We had the entrance tickets to Machu Picchu for 6 am and Huayna Picchu for 7 am the next day, but didnt get there until approx 8 am. The guide in Machu Picchu got us to joint another group and helped us to even exchange the time for the entrance to Huayna Picchu (!) for 10 am. We would never manage to to this for ourselves. Thank you Frank for everything! When you don´t have so much time, it is especially advisable to use this company, they are very helpful and it is totally worth it. I would also recommend you to stay an extra day in Ollantaytambo, it is a very authentic place and the views are magestic..

We had a very good experience with Machupicchu Center, our rep Nancy did our entire Peru itinerary starting from Lima to Arequipa, then Puno and finally in Cusco we did the 2 day sacred valley tour with a visit to Machu Picchu. All of the tours were very well coordinated and the guides were very good, but the best tour was for sure this one. Our guide Puma was superb. His knowledge and passion for his culture made the difference. And he was also very patient with us as we are seniors and we can't walk very fast. Puma picked us up from our hotel in Cusco (although Puma was 10 minutes late), he made it up by showing us the most beautiful sites of the Sacred Valley before we took our train to Machu Picchu.
We paid extra so he could also go on the train with us, so he escorted us to our hotel in Aguas Calientes. The next morning we boarded the bus to Machu Picchu and had a superb experience exploring the ruins and temples. Our guide also took us to a very good restaurant, I think the name was Happy Indian, we had an excellent time learning even more about Peru culture. The time to board our train back to cusco came and did not want to leave. Overall a superb experience.

I can't thank Machupicchu Center enough. They went above and beyond for me and my husband to go to Machu Picchu despite all the trains being cancelled due to the rain on the day of our tour. And we are even more thankful because we added Huaynapicchu tickets to our tour which was a real bucket list for us. On the day of the tour, we got picked up at 7:30 from our hotel in Cusco. The Sacred Valley portion of the tour was excellent, we visited Pisac ruins, Ollantaytambo ruins, they gave us plenty of time for shopping at the Pisac ruins and we alsoo stopped in Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch. All was going perfect when suddenly we got notified by whatsapp by their customer service that trains had been cancelled indefinately due to river waters rising to dangerous levels. I though for sure we would never see Machu Picchu as we didnt have more days in Peru. We went to the train station to verify and sure enough, we were told all trains had been cancelled and we could not even reschedule for the next day as they only reschedule when they are sure they will operate. Thankfully Machupicchu Center had a backup plan. They booked a hotel last minute in Ollantaytambo, across the street from the train station in case the trains resume operations we could just go at a moment's notice. And sure enough the next day the trains began to operate and we went and continued our trip, we got to Machu Picchu by 8am but Machupicchu Center staff had already coordinated with the Ministry of Culture to allow us to hike Huaynapicchu at 11am so we didn't miss a thing. Our Machu Picchu guide was fantastic and the Huaynapicchu hike superb! When we got back to our hotel in Cusco, many guests who were also going with other agencies or on their own were surprised we got to go because their agencies simply cancelled their trip. And if you buy train tickets or entrance tickets on your own, you have to go to each office in person to make a change. So my husband and I are very lucky we chose this agency and so grateful to Machupicchu Center for having a good back up plan.

My wife and I had a great experience with this company. The booking process was easy and the tour was fantastic. They picked me up from my hotel in Cusco at 7:30am, we visited Pisac first. Then we had a really good lunch at a restaurant with a great view of the sacred valley, I don't remember the name, but food was delicious. Then we visited Ollantaytambo ruins. Our guide Hector was really knowledgable and spoke good English. Then we boarded the train to Machu Picchu around 4:30pm and they picked us up from the train station and took us to our hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our guide showed up at 7pm to give us briefing. The next day the gave us a good breakfast and we went on our own to board the bus to Machu Picchu. We hiked Huaynapicchu from 7am to 10am ourselves and then our guide met us at the entrance of Machu Picchu and we had a fantastic tour of the ruins. Overall, this was an outstanding experience and highly recommend this agency.

My girlfriend and I used Machu Picchu Center for our two day, one night visit to the Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu tour. We had read reviews on TA and we can only add to the positive feedback.

Pre Day 1 - Santos game to our hostel in Cusco to talk us through the 2 day experience. He gave us his WhatsApp number, which he was responsive the whole time. He was great and made us feel at ease.

Day 1 - Pisac / Ollantaytambo
We were picked up punctually in a mini van and taken to Pisac town and agricultural site. Our guide, Irving, was a bubbly, friendly and well spoken man with excellent knowledge. He seemed proud of the Peruvian history and this made the tour all the more interesting. He shared his views and interacted with us as friends.
We spent about half an hour in Pisac town gathering supplies and listening to a talk about the local jewellery, and we also spent an hour or so in the magnificent Pisac agricultural site. We were left to ourselves most of the time in the agricultural site after Irving had shared his knowledge, which was nice and a good chance to take some photos.
We had lunch in Urubamba which was ok.
We then headed to Ollantaytambo where Irving shared more of his insightful knowledge, and again we were free to explore the ruins.
It was then time to board the train to Aguas Calientes, which is included in the price. We were met in Aguas Calientes by another staff member and taken to our hotel to check in. At 7pm, tomorrows guide Wilbur aka Yawar came to give us a talk. He was brilliant and took us through a step by step plan and also gave us a map of Machu Picchu site so we wouldn’t get lost the next day.
Everything was organised so well and we never felt lost despite being left to our own devices.

Day 2 - Machu Picchu & Mountain
We took the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, which again was included in the price. We arrived at the site at 8am, free to take pictures for an hour or so before starting our mountain trek at 9am. We made it all the way to the top and back in time for our next guide Yawar to arrive at 1pm. I can’t thank Yawar enough for making this day a truly once in a lifetime experience. He was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was responsive on WhatsApp and he arrived on time. For our 2.5 hour tour, Yawar was insightful, knowledgeable, passionate and caring. He seemed to know absolutely everything about Machu Picchu, the Quechua people and was able to answer all of our questions. We didn’t expect it to be a private tour of Machu Picchu at first but this turned out to be just perfect. He was also very funny, engaging and helped us with our picture taking. Yawar took us to all the most important parts of Machu Picchu, enhancing our experience all the time.
After this finished, Yawar helped us have our passports stamped and guided us to the bus back to Aguas Calientes. We were left here and we said our goodbyes as we boarded our train back to Ollantaytambo.
We were then met by our mini van driver and drove back to Cusco.

I can’t speak highly enough of Yawar and Irving, and also Santos, as they really did make our bucket list trip very special.
I would recommend Machu Picchu Center 100%!! Thank you.
