This was an amazing tour. Our guide, Ulises (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly), was great - very informative, polite, accommodating, and interesting. During the 3 hour ride to and back from all the sites, he and my husband had lively conversations that kept them preoccupied. The tour lasted longer than expected because there was so much to see, and Ulises was flexible. He never rushed us and took his time explaining the sights that we saw.

As for the sights, wow, the caves are a must see! Pictures do not do it justice. The scale of it and the magnificent stalagmites and stalactites were majestic. I'm not sure you can see anything like it elsewhere. As for Taxco, I thought it was a beautiful and interesting city that is worth a trip but I wouldn't go on this tour just to see the city only. But that's just my opinion - my husband enjoyed the town immensely. The only downside was that the restaurant that they brought us to had great views but the food was so-so.

I'd say the tour is a bargain at this price. The sights were amazing and so was the guide!

An exceptional tour - as a single traveller, I initially couldn't book this trip, but by contacting and keeping in touch with Francisco from Travis Adventures, we were able to sort out a date whereby I could join another group. The caves are astonishing and Taxco is a little gem of a place, albeit very busy at this time of the year. Ulises, our guide for the day, was extremely courteous, very knowledgeable and we felt completely at ease with him. A big part of the day is the driving, but that shouldn't be a deterrent to booking this trip. An excellent trip all round.

I went on this experience with my mom and my aunt. They’re in their 50’s so I wanted a comfortable trip for them, and this reservation was almost perfect — comfortable car and great tour spots with a great guide for sure.

I think a lot of the experience depends on what driver/guide you get paired with, and our guide Ulises was great — safe driver, knowledgeable about our tour spots and Mexico in general, plus generally amicable. He was great at explaining things in both English and Spanish, and made us feel very welcomed and engaged.

FYI, this tour requires a decent level of physical ability — the caves and Taxco are both destinations where you must walk at least a little. The caves have I believe about 5km worth of walking and stairs, with an option to turn around halfway through, before the stairs. Taxco has a lot of traffic and is best enjoyed walking, but the streets can be quite steep as it is a town on a hill. Our group handled it well, and did the full cave route + walked a bit less in Taxco, but we were definitely tired out by the end of the night. Not a bad thing, and probably less walking than joining a tour bus (worse parking + less autonomy to opt out in my experience), but just an FYI!

The Caves are great but the stop in Tasco could be better. The tour there is mostly going to the restaurant and to the silver jewellery shop. They did not took us to the cable car as expected from the tour description.

This was a very unique tour and definitely worth the 3 hour drive in the car. The tour guide, Ulises, was very friendly, a great guide, and translator. The city of Taxco had beautiful architecture and rich history. The caves were gorgeous, although a bit of a trek :) Highly recommend!

Enormous caves that are interesting to walk through. Guides are knowledgeable but check they have one that speaks English. Zipline to entrance was fun too.

The good parts are that the cave is amazing and we arrived safe at all destinations. The issues that we had are that the guide is not a guide, they are just a driver really, at Taxco you are transferred to a local guide who is really just taking you to the most tourist trap places ever to separate you from your money. You’re not feeling as a person, but as a walking wallet. I would assume most people are booking a private tour to get away from this sort of feeling. Also even as a fit person, the back seat of the car was very uncomfortable for the rise length.
