The directions were clear on how to get to the location and the provider calls to remind you where it is and help if you have problems finding the location. There was a little confusion regarding sunscreen in the beginning. The long and short, because of the boat material, you can not wear sunscreen as it will be slick and may damage the boat. The distance to the meeting area/ dock is about 1/4 to 1/2 mile. Arrive early as there will be paperwork. After arriving, you will be fitted for a life vest and escorted to the waiting boat which is another 5 min walk.
The scenery is amazing and the snorkeling (while short) was full of sea life and fish. The guide will be taking pictures which will be an upsell at the end (fairly expensive).
After the excursion, I highly recommend The Thirsty Cougar Restaurant the drinks and food are great and some of the best I have had. The restaurant does have a kids menu. Very reasonably priced, great food, and the drinks…….OMG! Probably some of the best. The Pina Colada and Mojito are amazing!

Recently booked this 2 hour trip in Cozumel to see ship wrecks and do some snorkeling at a “reef.” The boat was 25 minutes late, we had to find another boat to get additional life jackets, we then had to back track to a random pier for some guy to bring us snorkeling equipment, and there was no music or beverages like advertised. You spend most of the trip driving extremely slow to a ship wreck where there was a few star fish! We then went to a “reef” to snorkel for 15 minutes. Yup…15 minutes. There was absolutely no reef, we were literally 25 yards from shore and saw nothing that was spectacular. We could have saw the same fish swimming in the beach area at the port for free. Don’t waste your money or time on this trip. There are so many better options.

Envatours definitely care about their customers. They were always in contact with me to remind me about my booking. The process was easy to check in with them. Our tour guide was Jose, and he was awesome. He always tried to made us laugh and enjoy the experience. In the group I was to share the tour were only 5 people which it was good. Not to crowded. We learned about the history of the island, and we were able to see the sinking ships and some of the houses. While we were seeing this our Captain Tomas was playing the song of Titanic. I’ve never seen such clear waters until I got here. The snorkeling activity was fun, definitely didn’t like the fact of drinking salt water when we get off the boat to the snorkeling area but it was fun. I definitely wish the snorkeling activity was longer. Jose and Captain Tomas were the best crew I’ve ever seen. I would definitely love to rebook this activity.

Had a great time on the tour. Small group tours on small boats are the best! !Our tour guide and boat operator were great. Location was easy to find. Tour operator communicated before the tour date providing detailed directions to the pick-up location and included a photo.

Arrangements made through Trip Advisor great communication with reminders. Check in was pleasant and informative. Life jackets were new and comfortable. Boat captain and guide friendly and helpful. Loved the crystal boat. Got to see lots of pretty fish. We also saw a large turtle sting ray and huge starfish. Mask and snorkel fit well. Lots of fish to see. Well worth the trip.

Got dropped off early right by spot told by man not there, he argued and said he worked for them and it wasn’t there we messaged and while waited we see the message saying we had been refunded! Then when we walked back and finally got to hotel( 40
Minutes later) the man had been calling said they were still waiting for us, and had been calling us!!! What would we stay at a place where we were supposed to be dropped off and your guy is telling us( exact location) it isn’t there and your email says it is refunded) and you are yelling at me would we want to spend money to drive back??? You were rude, and disrespectful and had no regard for anything! You even said the man there had been banned from that property for a long time which means YOU knew he is there doing that!!

The directions are unclear, took us entirely too long to find the meeting point. Tour operators didn’t try to call to see if we needed help finding the location or to see why we didn’t make it before pulling off. Communication was terrible and we ended up missing the entire event. Ruined the end of our vacation.

They don't allow you to use sunscreen, they don't allow you to wear aqua socks and they expect you to be able to climb like a monkey to get on and off. Don't do it. Not worth a gash in the leg from the dock.
