Efficient transportation from Hanoi to our chosen place of stay in cat ba.
They keep in contact via WhatsApp and inform you precisely where and when they pick you up.
The trip was very smooth once out of town and there was a change with a fast boat, only a few minutes ride, and then another bus was waiting for us on the island.
Very good organisation and a nice guy as a guide who speaks very good English. The first one till now.

The journey was pleasant and well organised. Leo was our guide and he had exceptional customer service. He told us what was happening and what to expect every step of the way and was very friendly and well-mannered. Would use again!

The guide was great, friendly, and spoke English fluently.
It took one more hour than expected because of the changes, you take a bus then speed boat and bus again but everything was smooth and well organised.
Great service, I recommend it.

Overall a very good experience, they were really organized and nice. My place I was staying at was outside of Old Town and I received a timely WhatsApp telling me they could not pick me up (I did not expect them to). The only thing is the bus does have bugs. I saw two cockroaches on the floor, something on someone's trash on the floor (this guy put his food waste down on the floor), and bugs crawling on some of the seams of the bus. So... if bugs make you squeamish, it may not be the right way for you to get to Cat Ba.

I have already traveled with this company three times, from Hanoi to Cat Ba and back and from Hanoi to Sa Pa. I can absolutely recommend the company, you are picked up from the hostel and taken to your next hostel, everything was always very reliable and safe.

I booked the bus from Hanoi to Cat Ba. Perfect communication. Pick up at my homestay in Hanoi at the scheduled time. Arrived (and drop off) at my accomodation in Cat Ba also at the scheduled time. Great communication about breaks and ferry during the trip. I was never left alone and always knew what was going on (sometimes reassuring especially when travelling solo).
I also booked the half day tour (sunset cruise + kayaking to see the bioluminesence), it was perfect and we saw fireflies too! Special thanks to Dustin who speaks very good english and communicates with a big smile on his face during the whole trip.
Also affordable so definitely highly recommended
