This tour was very enjoyable and quite a learning experience! I traveled to Oxford with my parents; both of them were very impressed with the knowledge of our tour guide (his name was Martin I think) and the city itself. I would definitely recommend this tour to people coming to visit Oxford.

The whole college vs university concepts of Oxford had me confused prior to this tour. Appreciated all that Steve shared about the structure of the colleges and university system. Then he added all the historical details of the city itself. Well worth the fee to make the day in Oxford even more memorable.

David was incredible, so knowledgeable, so passionate, so polite and accommodating. His tour didn't feel scripted and he made an effort to converse between spots and thank us for our interactions. Seriously, he made the 2hrs fly by and there was barely a moment where he wasn't giving information. The only (constructive) criticism would be that because he's so knowledgeable I think he maybe made some presumptions about my level of history knowledge, as I found sometimes I'd be a little lost in his in-depth references to historical British events, but the great thing is if you just stop and ask - he'll clarify. Really a brilliant job and he should be proud of himself as an educator too.

There are so many places of interest available to visit in Oxford but on limited time available as only there for the weekend, we decided to take the Oxford Official University and City Tour. We are so glad we did!!
A massive thank you to our guide Steve who spent 2 hours guiding us around the stunning buildings of Oxford, providing detailed and informative information on the history and which of the famous people attended and studied at the various university college buildings.
The tour was incredibly informative and delivered with humour to add to the great experience.
For anyone wanting pointers of which places to visit when in Oxford and at the same time learning a lot about the history of the buildings of Oxford, then this is a must.
Thank you again Steve for a fabulous tour!

My tour guide was David and I cannot say I’ve had a better tour guide anywhere ! He delivered historical and current information, along with some personal experience of being born and bred in Oxford. His enthusiasm and passion not just for sharing his beautiful city with us but also his knowledge, was a delight to be around and listen to. Thank you for a very lovely experience David ( booked through Get your Guide )

Lucky for us, there were only 4 of us and our guide on our tour so he graciously answered our many questions. We appreciated hearing and seeing most of the Oxford colleges and important major sites in the old town. We were only able to peek inside the exterior college doors to see the courtyards but it was a worthwhile experience and we learned a lot. We would highly recommend taking an Oxford tour otherwise you would not know what the buildings were.
