This was a wonderful experience for our family (2 teenagers included). Learning about the ceremony, then actually performing the ceremony was fantastic! We learned a lot and walked away with some amazing photos to boot!

Our Family of 9 had such a wonderful time at the tea ceremony. Everyone was so incredibly sweet and kind. The kids especially enjoyed wearing the traditional garments. The tea ceremony itself was memorizing and beautiful. It was an incredible experience and highly recommend!

I bought my 80+ yd parents to this tea ceremony, it was such a beautiful experience. Gorgeous silk kimono, private and small scale, professional tea master, every detail made it the best part of our Kyoto tour. Big Thanks to our Master Mila

Having the wonderful ladies put on our kimono was so memorable. They’re so polite. Another person is Mina. She explain the cultural Japanese Tea Ceremony so well. The whole event is so amazing. I’ll recommend this place to all of my friends.

Once in a lifetime experience. Such a fantastic moment! Caren helped us to get dressed properly and style our hair. Then she demonstrated how to prepare and serve tea. Then she taught us. It was beautiful and relaxing.

My husband and I spent 3 weeks in Japan for our honeymoon. We participated in this traditional tea ceremony with kimonos. We had an awesome time. The explanation about traditional tea ceremonies was very thorough and we enjoyed the tea. It was wonderful. I recommend this to others and I will revisit during my next trip to Japan.

The location was a bit tricky to find, located in a residential neighborhood (we were expecting a temple) but we called and they found us! Once we were welcomed to change into kimonos (absolutely beautiful selections), the host helped take some stunning pics of the family in traditional Japanese attire and one really felt stepping into centuries-old tradition. Then the tea master very patiently demonstrated the techniques and we sampled the delicious macha tea. The kids also had the chance to practice performing the tea ceremony and offer to the parents. It was definitely an unforgettable moment in time - as the calligraphy painting in the room implied “一期一会”! Thank you very much for the amazing experience! A highlight of our Kyoto tour and beautiful pics for rememberance! 🙏
