Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable (could answer lots of follow up questions), and her Spanish was crystal clear, which is great for language learners. She did great with the bilingual English-Spanish tour. El Escorial was really interesting (monastery, palace…), and the Valley of the Fallen has interesting history too. There is a lot of walking in El Escorial, fyi - lots of stairs. The tour was great, everything was very on time, and the bus was comfortable!

Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable. I was surprised by how much was inside the monastery. The very cool part is the crypt where the bodies are actually in the stone caskets! She was very friendly and answered all our questions. Even gave a heads up there is no food at the second place so better to stock up from the market at the first place.

What an incredible day trip! Highly recommend this. It’s too short so will def go back, but Christina was an excellent guide. So knowledgeable and really knew her subject well. Such a delight!

Óverall great experience with Cristina as the tour guide and Jose Manuel as the driver. Both monuments were spectacular and Cristina share a lot of very useful information. Time was very well managed. I highly recommend this tour.
