#1 Maui Adventure with Gus: A Five-Star Experience!
Gus is an absolute gem! He made our Maui tour truly unforgettable. His passion for the island’s history shone through in every story he shared. He not only gave us the facts, but painted vivid pictures of the past, making the landscape come alive.
We were thrilled to see the breathtaking waterfalls and stunning coastline, but the true highlights were the unexpected encounters. Spotting sea taking a break from the water to sunbath was magical, and catching a glimpse of the elusive mongoose was a bonus we hadn't anticipated.
Gus's friendly and engaging personality made the experience even more enjoyable. He was patient, answered all our questions, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the tour. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and entertaining guide to explore the beauty of Maui.

We were so glad to have someone else do the driving on the Road to Hana so both of us could enjoy the views! The driver (and company owner), Gus, was very knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii and Maui, despite being a transplant from Brazil himself. His own story was a very interesting one as well! We were disappointed not to have sunshine for our tour, but rain in a rainforest is a thing. Still enjoyed the journey and the day was still plenty long (9:30-4) even though we only went halfway to Hana. Highly recommend!

Had an awesome tour with Gus on the road to Hana. Absolutely worth the money to book a private tour, we felt that we got a fully customized experience and were never rushed on our tour. We rode in a convertible Bronco through the beautiful scenery and really enjoyed Gus's knowledge of the history of Maui and all the wildlife on the island. We had a great time and were able to eat some local food along the way. The tour company made it so easy and arranged for our pick up and drop off right at the cruise port. Thank you so much to Gus for your perspective and thorough trip through some of the highlights on our first day in Maui; we had an unforgettable experience and can't wait to explore more.

I wish I could give this company 100 stars!! Totally worth the trip. This tour was the highlight of our week in Hawaii. Our driver Gus was so kind and informative. If we had drove the road to Hana by ourselves like many do, my husband would not have been able to enjoy the trip and would have missed the absolutely stunning views. And we would not have learned as much about Hawaii as we did!!!! When we come back with family we will be taking the tour again

We had an amazing time on the Taste of Hana tour! Our drivers (we rented 2 vans) were excellent! We learned so much. Seeing the turtles on the beach took my breath away! Thank you Thank you!!!

We booked the deluxe half way to Hana private tour and were very pleased with the experience. Our driver for the day was Kea and he was also excellent. The service from the owners were also professional and attentive through the entire booking process.

We just returned from our trip to Maui, and one of the highlights of our trip was our Hana Bound tour with Holo Holo Maui Tours. This day was amazing, Joe was our tour guide and took us to so many amazing sights. He really listened to what my kids were interested in - and took us to see sea turtles, swimming in waterfalls, and they both ate and drank their first coconut. Joe was terrific to work with and would highly recommend him!! Thank you for an amazing family experience and memories.

Thank you, Joe, for a great tour on the road to Hana. We saw and learned so much. From green turtles to walking through a lava tube we are still amazed at all the things we saw on just half the road. We look forward to coming back and seeing more of this part of the Island.

Our private tour of Road to Hana with Joe was absolutely amazing! Joe was incredibly knowledgeable about the Hawaiian culture, vegetation and history. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day and truly loved every part of this bucket list journey!
