Our GLOW Night Diving adventure, also known as Fluorescence diving, fluoro diving, or disco diving is a very unique type of night dive. When glow diving we use special UV lights & filters for your mask, that enhance the stunning colors of our magical coral reefs. All of the critters and corals that you swam past earlier will be worth a second look as some glow bright like a black light poster.
This special type of diving requires a diver to be comfortable with night diving and have skills that are needed for such dives. While the glow illuminates the surrounding area and all the divers have flashlights, there are still many safety concerns that divers need to be prepared for before jumping in. No special filter for mask or ultraviolet lite was provided and the Lites that were provided were malfunctioning in the dark! G. Escape PR operator/Owner refused to cancel or refund trip during riptide, high wind advisory conditions. Horrible experience, No visibility, dangerous currents slammed me against shipwreck, super unsafe conditions. Guide was not a PADI Dive master and he forgot to turn my air on! Operator harassed me before and after through text messages and even is threatening me now for writing a negative review of them on Viator. I only want to warn others and hopefully save a life.

The owner lied about refunding our bookings for 1-tank night and 2-tank day because of severe rip currents and 4-foot saves. He would not call the dive off until we pushed him and said it was very unsafe. He stated 100% he would refund us and in good faith, we left a $100 tip. It is now January 2024 with no refund. Do not trust anything that is coming out of his mouth.

Background : Advanced open water with 50ish dives.
The dive was great, directions to the meeting point was correct and the guides arrived on time. We quickly hopped in the water and the guides gave me a run down on what to expect. This is a shore dive so we swam out and dropped down to 25ft before exploring some reefs. The bio luminous affects were incredible and I was able to see plenty of wild life. Trumpet fish, sea turtle, snapper and more.
Highly recommended for a fun exciting night dive

Loved this! Bioluminescence so cool…saw crabs and lobster and so forth. My kids’ first night dive…very safe.

By far the best dive I’ve had in Puerto Rico if you are looking for a group that will make sure you are taken care of before, during, and after your dive this is the place. The night dive was a ton of fun conversation on the way out and back in had me relaxed for my first night saltwater dive!

Great escape ran a night dive for me on short notice with no other customers booked. Laurel led a great night dive and seemed to enjoy it as much as I did (hopefully!)
Booking remotely and meeting at the entry site works fine for more experienced divers, but those who need a little more hand holding may want to visit the shop and meet their dive guide / instructor ahead of time and get fitted with gear.
Good call bringing a blacklight to a night dive!

Very fun! We saw an octopus which was cool. I didn’t see to much bioluminescence but the experience of nightdiving was still cool

It was a beautiful dive with Ian, the dive guide. We spent over an hour under water, that allowed us to observe the rich marine life of the Caribbean Sea; a moray eel on the hunt, magnificent basket starfish, crabs, lobsters and bioluminescence under a full moon. Ian was a knowledgeable, skillful, confident and helpful dive guide. I was greateful to Great Escape PR to organize this dive for me as I was a solo diver; many other places in other countries required a minimum of divers to sign up for a night dive.
