Feel the anticipation of exploring a new place, of swimming in a river of pure water born at the peak of the same mountain you are. Our guide will escort you on a memorable journey where you will delight in your surroundings, see beautiful landmarks, take refreshing dips in the streams, and get to enjoy this Nature Walk.
Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel or location, at the previously accorded pickup time (contact us for confirmation). From there, we will head east through the coastal road boarding the beautiful beaches in the town of Loíza. Exposition regarding our Puerto Rican heritage, and live commentary and interpretation of your surroundings can be given in both English and Spanish throughout the journey. After this time, we head back to your lodgings.

Had a great time! Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful! Not too much walking. Good for people wanting to see the rainforest but don’t want to commit a whole day. We got picked up at 9:15 and were back before 4:00. I wish it was longer! The kiosks in Luquillo are a bit pricy but I suppose any touristy area would be like that.

What a great easy day. The tour guide was knowledgeable and gave a lot of interesting facts about the island and it’s rainforest, flora, and fauna, etc.… It was not physically demanding which made the day feel light and uncomplicated. We stopped at a river after a very easy hike, we saw an overview of the forest and we ended the day with two hours to do whatever we wanted at a local beach with very fine sand and great restaurants nearby. We chose a Puerto Rican restaurant with excellent food. It was a good day.

I wanted something that would give me the rainforest experience in less than half a day. This was perfect! Our guide was entertaining, engaging and polite.

Waterfall and nature walk were beautiful. Guide had good knowledge of the plants in the nature walk but just dropped us forr an entire hour at the center

Rafael was our tour guide and he made my experience amazing!! He was super friendly and helpful. The whole time he was explaining information/facts about El Yunque and the island in general. Definitely recommend this excursion!

Worst tour I took while my stay in Puerto Rico. If I knew I was going to pay 80 dollars to sit in a vehicle for two hours I would have rented my own car and gone to the Yunque for a cheaper price and explore all trails. It’s all false advertisement. I understand we come to explore as tourist, but I don’t understand why your guides can be inconsiderate giving false hope of their island . We all come to tour for a good experience hoping to make that memory to one day return to Puerto Rico. Very upset , and I hope you guys change your mentality to why people truly come to Puerto Rico.
That being said if you like to take a tour were they take you all the way to the mountain and give you a BS story and make small 5 minute stops for pictures and take the Angelito trail( the bare minimum trail ) for their sake , then book this tour to waste your full day of the view of the Yunque rainforest.

It's definitely worth a visit to El Yunque. We chose a ship's tour over this one only due to timing of the tour and our ship's early departure from PR.
El Yunque is a totally different experience of PR than San Juan and beaches. We learned a lot about the flora and fauna and general environment of the forest, visited beautiful waterfalls and enjoyed the magnificent scenery. While others in my family were sweating in Old San Juan, we were blessed with shade and cool breezes on a hot day!

Rafael was a great tour guide!! He was so knowledgeable and just a great sociable person to have for this tour. We really lucked out having him for this experience. He was so sweet to my niece and he even made her a hat out of a huge leaf we gathered along our small hike. This tour is really great for the elderly and young children. It's mostly driving in an AC provided bus touring the rain forest, we made about 3 stops in El Yunque and one of those was a brisk nature walk that led to our stop at the river (not too extreme of a hike, like i said my 5 year old niece could do it with ease). Overall, i would recommend this tour to experience of El Yunque, even with small children, to anyone! Just don't expect a crazy hike, because that's not what you're getting :)

Our guide Rupert was AWESOME! Very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. This is a laid back (non hiking) tour with a few stops and plenty of sightseeing. I highly recommend it.
