The food was interesting, the guide Bryndisi very informative about foods and other Icelandic things, and the tour was just the right length.

Our guide Thor was great. Very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and the food. He took us to two places we would have never found ourselves and the food was great at both places. These were places I would definitely go back to eat again. If there was one suggested adjustment to the tour, it would be to skip the hot dog stand. I would have preferred another foodie restaurant with a local dish verses a hot dog stand.

We went on this walking food tour our first day. It was the perfect way to start our stay in Reykjavik! Silly had enough energy to keep us awake and entertained despite our jet lag, we got to see and learn about many parts of the city, and taste the best food! We had two vegetarians in our party and they had accommodations at each stop. Would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone who is visiting and is fit enough to walk for a few hours.

The Reykjavík Food Walk was one of the best parts of my trip! My husband and I got married in Iceland five years ago and decided to come back for our anniversary. After driving the Ring Road, we scheduled the food walk for our last day in Iceland, and I was amazed at how much I learned. Bergur was our guide, and he was so knowledgeable, friendly, and very funny. He truly felt like a friend showing us around the city! And the food was INCREDIBLE. (The arctic char was my favorite, I swear I’m going to dream about it.) I highly recommend the Reykjavík Food Walk to anyone visiting, whether it’s your first time or your fifth!

This is a great food tour which gives you good bearings around beautiful Reykjavik and lets you sample tasty Icelandic food. Katrin was our guide and she was brilliant - funny & knowledgeable. Highly recommended :)

Our guide “Bergur” was fantastic! Very informative and a terrific story teller. The food was great! Pancakes and jam, lamb stew, Iceland hot dog, artic char, local beer, Iceland wedding cookie- rhubarb and oatmeal Totally recommend!
