We'll start our tour from the historical Rialto area, defined by historians "the Wall Street of Europe in the Middle Ages". We'll discover the secrets of Rialto and I'll unveil the venetian point of view about the Rialto bridge and its spectacular view on the Grand Canal. We'll discover why masks and Carnival are so important in Venice and then away from the crowds, we will take a walk to discover the unique layout of the city: bridges, fancy private palaces, narrow alleyways, large and small campi(our squares), elaborate stone well heads. Finally we'll reach the most beautiful square of the world, Piazza San Marco, to see the famous architectures (the Doges' Palace, Sansovino Library, the Bridge of Sighs, the Bell Tower, Procuratie) only outside. Here I will share with you some secrets and details that generally people don’t notice.

Lucia was amazing! She was so sweet, nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. My mother has walking difficulties (uses a cane) abs was struggling with the many steps and bridges. Lucia was able to modify the tour on the spot to help assist my mother! Her knowledge and love of the city shows! She was able to recommend amazing restaurants and the BEST galito place ever! She took us to a rooftop views that was amazing. We never would have know about it or even how to find it. She also made sure to help us capture our memories by offering to take a few photos of our family! Lucia's knowledge abs love for her city shines through. Lucia was an excellent host to her city! We started our trip to Venice with this tour and this was the perfect introduction. Lucia entertained my 8 year old and teenager and offered fun and interesting stories and histories throughout the tour. Highly recommend!

Fun facts about Venice, that I would not have noticed otherwise, paired with hidden corners and well known places - this tour was just the right mix for my first intro to Venice. Lucia was absolutely fantastic! She loves her city and it shows. She was delightfully engaging with kids and adults. The stories and tales of the city unfolded as we walked. I see Venice in a different way than previous trips. Well worth the time to take this tour!

We took the tour on our first day in Venice and it was the best decision we could've made.
Lucia introduced us to the history of the city, showed us the tourist spots, but most importantly, how the locals "true Venetians" live.

A truly wonderful tour. Lucia is so friendly and engaging that it feels like you are being shown around Venice by a friend. Lucia was an amazing tour guide. We had a great time. She was able to get us onto this really pretty terrace that we didn’t even know about. She gave us lots of cool tips such as what the real gondolas look like and really gave us a locals insight into the best things to do in Venice. 10 out of 10 would recommend the tour.
