Angkor Wat is the complex and largest religious structure in the world. After that, we will visit Ta Prohm or Tomb Raider temple. It is one with a lot of gigantic tree roots over the temple.

After Lunch, we will Visit Ta Nei, a small and quite temple before we head to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, one of the most photograph spot in Angkor Park. We'll continue to Bayon, a 216-smilling face temple that is in the center of Angkor Thom. We will visit some of the most famous temples in Angkor Thom. We'll stop by to see Baphuon - a 3-tier Pyramid Shape temple, the Terrace of Elephants and the Leper King. Finally, we will go to Phnom Bakhen mountain and climb up to the top to see a gorgeous sunset.

When the tour has finished we'll drop you back to your hotel or any other location in Siem Reap town.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Angkor Wat
After your breakfast our guide will meet and pick you up in the lobby at 8:00am at your accommodation (Hotel or Guest House) and we will take you to buy temples pass along the way to temples then we’ll visit the world famous Angkor Wat temple.
2. Ta Prohm
It really is amazing! Afterward continue to Ta Prohm on the small circuit road. This temple is one with a lot of gigantic tree roots over the temple and is the place where Hollywood made the movie "Tomb Raider". After busy couple hours in the morning between 12:00pm-1:00pm we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant nearby take around 45 minutes - 1 hour ( Meals : food can be cost rank from 5USD per dish which depend on the food you order form menu ). After lunch then we go to the next temples.
3. Ta Nei Temple
Ta Nei is a small & quite temples with less restoration yet, surrounded by big trees.
4. Angkor Thom
Angkor Thom. At first we will stop by visit the Victory gate of Angkor Thom then we continue to Bayon temple.
5. Bayon Temple
It’s the highlight temple in the centre of Angkor Thom city with 49 towers in which every tower has 4 faces, so that means there are 196 faces of Budhhistsatva Avalokestesvara
6. Baphuon Temple
we walk to the next temple nearby called Baphuon which is a Hindu temple built before Angkor Wat in 11st Century. The big Reclining Buddha behind it was built in 16th Century & we continue to Royal Enclosure Wall.
7. Phimeanakas
Phimeanakas is the pyramid Hindu temple built in 10 Century and located in the center of the old Royal Palace of Angkor Thom so we can visit Phimeanakas altogether with ancient Royal Enclosure Wall.
8. Terrace of the Elephants
Elephant & Leper King Terrace , still within the complex of Angkor Thom.
9. Terrace of the Leper King
The Terrace of the Leper King is another platform located nearby on the north side of Terrace of Elephants.
10. Preah Palilay
This is an quiet Buddhis temple that located behind Royal Palace inside Angkor Thom.
11. Phnom Bakheng
Last temple of the tour we go to climb up the hill Phnom Bakheng for waiting to see sunset view. Fantastic day from start to finish on the Angkor day trip, thanks to Jimmy who was our guide for the day. We visited Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon temples. Jimmy was extremely knowledgeable and his English was excellent. He made the temples come alive with his story telling. We were on our honeymoon and were well and truly looked after. Jimmy made this experience very special. Thank you Jimmy! Lovely stuff. The driver (So P) was also super helpful and friendly, offering water and refreshing towels at every stop. Firstly I would like to say that all the temples I saw were absolutely gorgeous and learning about the temples history and the peoples culture was an educational excursion. Our driver San and tour guide Sam were incredibly hospitable to us. Sam was very informative while describing each temple never failing to surprise us with different facts about the temples we visited. He also answered every question we asked without any mistakes. In closing this was one of if not the best tours I’ve ever taken and I would be glad to do it again!

My tour guide Jimmy and driver San were wonderful. It is definitely a must go tour. Jimmy is knowledgeable, caring and he has shared a lot of the history of Siem Reap, the stories behind the temples and Hindu-Buddhism theories. They are flexible and courteous. Highly recommended tour. .

I have just come back from this tour. It was amazing. Our guide Lonn Thou, and driver: Bun Hay made this trip amazing. First Thou is very knowledgeable and we have learned so much from him. Second he knew about hidden secrets and best spots to see and take pictures of us. He constantly made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Hay, our driver was also very helpful and polite. The restaurant that we went to had such a good and tasty food (Palmboo see separate review). Very informative and really great experience. Thank you to Happy Angkor Tour, Thou and Hay.
