The best welcome one of the largest cities in the world. Through a small group we will walk through a pre-Hispanic and colonial city. We will see Mexico as a fusion between two cultures represented in history and architecture.

Loved my guide, Michelle, who is a professor and had great perspective and history. I definitely recommend this!

Firstly, you don't go in anywhere, you just walk past things and they tell you what it is. We spent a lot of time hearing about the ancient civilization but didn't get to see much of it. There was a lot of stopping and hearing about things which was hard when it's hot and we want to be moving and seeing. My partner and I didn't find the information given particularly interesting nor did it tell us much about the history of city. Too much time spent talking about the earthquake warning system, which might have been slightly more interesting if we hadn't already heard it on another tour. We walked past several things that were closed, so we couldn't even go back later and look. Our guide was very friendly and we were happy to take a free tour, but overall my partner and I really regretted taking the tour and wasting the limited time we had. We ended up wasting most of a day and felt like we didn't get to see anything or learn anything new. We wish we had just paid for a real tour or explored the area and museums on our own.

Very interesting walkabout, amazing history, past and present, with a delightful tour guide. Despite the downpour that challenged the last hour of our walk, we were all determined to see the sights!

The tourist did a good job and we took many photos! We walked a lot but it was worth it because we learned a lot about the historical places.

There is such rich history and cultural context to Mexico City that I wouldn’t have known if not for this tour! Arturo was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. He also gave us a great lunch recommendation after the tour. I would definitely recommend it — a great way to see the city.

Arturo was very knowledgeable about the area and took us to places we probably otherwise would have missed. Highlights included the Templo Mayor and the post office. Distance from start to end wasn’t long, and there were shady spots to sit and listen along the way. Great intro to Mexican history and see several key places.

The tour is a great introduction to the historic centre of CDMX. Fer was an excellent tour guide, and shared her knowledge but also tips for travelers new to the city.
