This building is where Mozart lived while in Vienna. It is now a museum and is made up mostly of empty rooms only with some portraits and other wall displays. There is not that much to see, therefore, but the audio guide gave some interesting information about episodes in Mozart's life. It was just about worth the €10 entrance fee.

It was nice to see one of the many residences of Mozart, but there was very little to see. The exhibition was disjointed, no original artefacts at all, photocopied music and replica paintings. The audio guide was ok - but didn’t really share anything interesting about his music and life.
I would honestly save your money - I was so disappointed

We had a great time and would recommend it! The place was beautiful! The opera singer was an added touch.

I have no idea why this museum doesn’t have better reviews. It’s a must-do. The audioguide is a great companion to the informative exhibits. The museum does a wonderful job of drawing you into Mozart’s world and highlighting some of the pivotal compositions he was working on while living in this very spot.

Many of the older posts are pre renovation. I thing the renovations are quite recent As of May 24, it is open every day except mondays.
It is very interesting, the audio guide is great.
The 3D hologram, although small, is spellbinding (the Magic Flute was playing)
The life of Mozart seems to be an enigma, and this is well captured in the displays plus audio commentary. Will worth the experience. Easy online booking experience.

Bad experience we arrived a couple of days ago to visit Mozart's house in the possession of Vienna P. we arrived at 5.30pm and they kicked us out when it says everywhere that it closes at 6pm. A very arrogant and rude boy who spoke Italian with long hair insulted us by saying that he couldn't stand Italians anymore that he was from Bolzano and chased him away shouting at us because we imposed ourselves given the indication that closing time was at 6pm considering that the Vienna p was expiring and that we would be satisfied with a quick tour. This also cost us 60 euros for two families the next day. If you don't have the Vienna p. Don't waste this money because it's just not worth it. Change the indication or write on the site last entry 5.30pm

Went to the one in Salzburg… much better. Please don’t waste your money. There is legitimately nothing to see. No items or furniture or anything cool you are probably wanting to see. It’s all writings on the wall and signs that you could read on google. If you are adamant about going, definitely don’t take kids, it’s boring.

Audio guide was good, you do not need to bring your own headphones which was a plus. Don’t expect a restored house that looks the way it did when Mozart was there, but they are honest about the details that lead them to display it the way they did. We spent 2 hours here lingering through the different rooms listening to the guide.

The visit could be produced to make it so much better and more interesting for the layman. Not recommendable if you're going there to increase your knowledge about Mozart. It's one of those things I wouldn't bother to go to nor recommend. My daughter found it boring and even though I didn't say anything to her, it was exactly how I felt.

The museum's offering is very poor compared to expectations and the price paid. Inside there are no original and captivating elements (apart from a few pages of scores) and the audio guides are long-winded and not very relevant to what you see.
Not recommended.
