Had the most amazing time with Pur and June our great guides for the trek to Ijen. Everyone on the team was absolutely amazing on the team and went above and beyond to make our time so memorable. Truly an once in a lifetime experience.

It was a nice and amazing experience, the place is simply stunning. It is a medium-level hike. Be aware that it is uncomfortable due to huge amount of people there, it is not easy to walk, and watching the blue fire is not even enjoyable due to a lot of people fighting to go to the front. My only recommendation is: there are three guides and they are divided one on the front, one in the middle, and one on the back. However, it does not make sense to wait for more than 30 min the last guide with the rest of the people.

Ijen is one of only 2 places in the world (the other being ethiopia) where you can see blue magma. It is one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. The travel is long but completely worth it. The driver, and guides were extremely nice. The Java breakfast was so good! And of course the scenery is astonishing, from the road to the ferry, the ferry itself allows you to see Ijen and other volcanoes. And then the magma, the acid lake, and crater 10/10

The excursion with Indotravelteam was fabulous. Everything was there: excellent value for money, all inclusive and carefully prepared, punctual transport in a modern and comfortable van from Bali with scenic drive and ferry included, delicious, hearty and original local meals, beautiful comfortable quality lodge, organizers present who respond quickly with precision and courtesy (Pierrick and Alex), welcoming local guides (Hari and Pour) who know the places and the reality of the people who live there very well, on the lookout for what is happening. A unique and memorable experience.

It was an amazing adventure to see such an unreal place live and not just pictures. The climb was quite hard for me but I'm very unfit so anyone with some basic stamina should be able to it as well. If not you can get someone to push you up there in their 'Ferrari' ;) The people where really friendly and accommodating and I enjoyed both classic Indonesien meals that were provided. Our driver was very good he was fast and in the same moment very smooth. I had very interesting conversations with him and learned lots about the Indonesien culture. Which I personally really enjoyed. Our tour guides where very friendly and knowledgeable as well. We had a great time and really suggest that this is a must when in Indonesia. Merci Beaucoup to the Boss finding so good staff.

A completely fantastic experience that I will tresure forever. For a few hours before sunrise, It felt like being on an alien planet, seeing the acid lake crater illuminated by moonlight with sulfur smoke rising from it. Detailed communication before the trip by Patrick. It was a long ride from Bali, but our driver looked after us well. Accomodation was surprising good. Private room with ensuite shower. Hary, our guide for the trek up, was great! Made an effort to get to know everyone, made sure the pace was not too challenging while ensurinflg we reached the crater in time to witness the blue fire. There was strong winds blowing sulfur smoke over the blue fires and many people were struggling to get good pictures and videos. He took our phones, when into the smoke and got fantastic shots for all of us. Really awesome experience.

A wonderfully planned tour into an active volcano and out again. Everything went smoothly from the start. The driver who picked us up in Ubud was already waiting for us when we arrived at the meeting point 10 minutes before the agreed time. On the journey in the spacious car, he stopped whenever we wanted to take a break. He drove us safely to the ferry and to dinner. There, Pierrick prepared us a delicious local dinner and gave us all the information we needed for the night before we were able to get some sleep in the simple but very clean accommodation. At night, we went to the base camp and from there into the volcano with the guide, who used to mine sulfur in the volcano himself and speaks very good English. That was probably one of the most impressive experiences we have ever had and will ever have. After the tour, Pierrick served us a delicious and plentiful local breakfast before the driver drove us safely to Denpasar. All in all, a superbly organized trip.
