Excellent tour and tour guide, especially if you are interested in learning about the ancient Egyptians. Mohammed Gobran was very knowledgeable and helpful during the tour. All of our Vegan accommodations were met, which was our initial concerns before booking the tour. Good experience overall, I really appreciated that the tour guide suggested using the Van instead of using horses to visit some of the temples because of the conditions of which these animals were in.
I would also NOT recommend doing the Numbian Village tour because of the terrible confinements of which the crocodiles were in.

Wonderful tour which we see all the sights. Mohammed Gobran is very knowledgeable about all the Egyptian history and patience with us. He gave us plenty of time to absorb the atmosphere and take pictures. The only negative comments are the van is very small for our group of 12 and the air conditioning is not cold enough

4 days packed with activities and 3 nights on the Nile River.
Our trip ended up being through Mody tours onboard the Hapi V. The ship was typical, adequate, nothing fancy. The staff were excellent and attentive. Pool and bar on board. Drinks priced reasonably. Would have liked free water or coffee with meals.
Tour guide Mahmoud quite knowledgeable and helpful.
We boarded the ship the morning of the first day amd then spent the rest of the day seeing the dam and Philae temple. After a short night's sleep we drove to Abu Simbel. Then the ship set sail. Landed at Kom ombo then on to Edfu. Finally docked the last night at Luxor and went to Karnack and Luxor temples. Another short night's sleep and up early again for a hot air balloon ride which was amazing, valley of the kings, colossus, and Hapshetsut temple. Done by 1pm.
Well organized but very early departure each day to stay on schedule. You won't sleep much!
I would have liked more advance communication about the pickup from our hotel the first day. The itinerary originally said 7am but I found out the afternoon prior it would be 10am. Nice to have to get some extra sleep, but it would have been helpful with flights etc. to have this information sooner.
However I highly recommend this experience and would do it again. A great way to see many sights along the Nile!

Talaat Abdo, our guide, was both personable and professional, striking the perfect balance between humor and seriousness. His expertise was evident, and he went above and beyond to assist us, even directing us to the best spots for souvenirs. I highly recommend this tour for a well-rounded and engaging experience.

We took this cruise in April 2024, and we had Mohamed Gobran as our guide.

Positives
- cruising has enormous potential. In just 4 days you can really visit an innumerable series of attractions, even if you always have to wake up before dawn (some days started at 4 am).
- the food on the cruise was really good, with dishes that always varied. Excellent breakfast (even if you eat only once and then have a packed breakfast).
- we were lucky because the room was new, comfortable and clean (unlike what we read in other reviews)

Downsides
- Paid Wi-Fi (exorbitant price) on the cruise.
- We waited 1.5 hours at the airport before they came to pick us up to take us to the cruise
- It is written that at the end of the cruise they would take us to any point for free, while if it is on the west coast you have to pay, in addition to a total disorganization between the guide and the driver, with countless excuses for not taking us exactly to our destination, in fact we had to walk 20 minutes in 40 degree heat to get to our hotel (to which they should have taken us "for free").
- The guide asks people €80 for all tickets to the various attractions + €19 tips each (which are absolutely mandatory and not optional) for various reasons, such as boat staff, drivers, etc., while at most he will have spent €5 throughout the trip for each participant
- mandatory stops are made at points not mentioned in the Tour aimed at pushing us to spend extra money (spice shops, perfumes, marble factory, etc.). To make these stops a lot of time was taken away from the main attractions. Sometimes the duration of these stages was even longer than the duration of the tour of some monuments. (This is because we were told that the guide/tour operator receives commissions based on purchases made by customers brought)
- practically no time to buy souvenirs independently
- the last very negative aspect was the very strong pressure put on by the guide to put the tour review before the last day (and under his supervision, because he will send you a link and help you fill it out in front of him) day in which you should conclude the trip with a hot air balloon visit. Attention!! At least 80% of the time this tour will never be carried out, inventing billions of absurd excuses, such as for example that the hot air balloons don't fly because there is wind (when the day before they traveled regularly even with more wind), or that the person who “directs” the
Mongolfiera was ill and will not be able to make the flight, or numerous other excuses. So a dispassionate piece of advice, wait until you have completely finished the tour before writing a review!!!
