Take the chance and visit Aswan which was known the land of gold as it was a big treasure for the kings of Nubia and Visit Aswan to enjoy its admirable heritage on one day trip on which you can visit Abu Simbel Temple.

The driver pick you from your hotel or boat at 4:30 AM to take you to Abu Simbel and take you back at 2 PM on a 10 seats minibus. We paid 55$ for two which is expensive but same as all the other companies so there is no other choice as it's the only way to get there. Seats are comfortable and air conditioned.
The temple definitely worths it, it's huuudge and well conserved.
