Wonderful walking tour of the Uffizi and Accademia Galeries with Francesca! We were so lucky to get paired with Francesca! She was very knowledgeable, engaging and made the entire experience so engaging! We were traveling with our twenty year old daughters and we all had a great time. We learned so much about not only the gallery art but the history of Florence and Italy as well. We booked a 3 hour tour but we could have easily made it 4 to include more about the city of Florence. The time goes by quickly! Highly recommend City Tours! They communicated everything very well and were responsive to any email communications. When booking ask for Francesca! Our guide was wonderful, she kept both my sons (16 and 13) totally engaged. She had a great grasp of the history and of the artworks. With Viator meeting our guide, getting the tickets and getting into the museums was a breeze. I can not recommend more, using this service when going to these museums.

My husband and I took a private tour of the Uffizi because we wanted to get the most we could out of such an important art gallery, and our guide Costanza delivered! She was so knowledgable, patient, and engaging, and the tour was delightful. She took us on a journey through the ages (started with Byzantine art) and explained to us how it built up to the Renaissance, and the new techniques that groundbreaking artists brought to the mix. She showed us a perfect mix of famous masterpieces, lesser known works, and even oddities in the museum itself. She then took us to the Academia and showed us David and lesser known works of Michelangelo. In between the museums and when we were walking or waiting, she was such a fun person to talk to. She was so professional, and I learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the tour to the point that it went by faster than I ever expected. I highly recommend this tour and sing the praises of Costanza!

Extremely glad that we booked this tour. Especially after seeing the chaos of other people trying to visit the Uffizi and the Academia. They are both very popular and crowded museums. Our guide was phenomenal. She has a master's degree in art history and made the paintings and the Uffizi and the sculptures at the Academic much more meaningful to us. Her insights and knowledge made the experience of visiting the museums truly special. A worthwhile and excellent experience.

We toured with Manuela who was accommodating, kind, knowledgeable and fun! She has such a passion for Renaissance art and it shows. We had only one day in Florence and she showed us the Uffizi and Accademia. She also customized a bit for us, when we wanted to see Titian and Caravaggio which are not typically included in the tour. She pointed out details we never would have known or understood & provided wonderful context on the pieces. A once in a lifetime experience! We loved day spent w/ Manuela & thank her!!

It was nice to have a private tour guide who was very knowledgeable and patient with us. Having gone on both private and semi private group tours, I find the semi private tours to be the best value for the monuments as there's not much difference as long as the semi private tours have good audio. Either way, this company did a great job with organizing the tour, easy to find meeting place, very professional. The guide explained the statue of David very well!!

Sylvia led a wonderful tour of the Uffizi and Academy Gallery that truly painted the picture for us of Italian Art and Art history that also tied back to other parts of our trip (Rome). I can't say enough nice things about how knowledgeable she is! Would highly recommend her as a guide if you can ask for her.
