Phi Phi and James Bond Private Boat Tour

Hello 5 Star, I want to let you all know that we all had an incredibly fun time yesterday. It was the highlight of our trip, and a great adventure for our two sons. And special thanks for the birthday cake and the gift from the team.

Another thing I want point out is, we really appreciate the team take extra care of my family’s safety whenever we were in the water, especially family with children. One of the team member was in the water with us at all time when we were snorkeling.

Also the weather was great, not a drop of rain, sun was out shinning.

We will definitely book you guys again when we visit again!

The tour was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were very polite and helpful they kept us updated on what was happening. They asked us what we wanted to do and catered around us.

5-Star Marine is appropriately named! From the very first inquiry, the staff was very responsive and remained that way through our booking and tour. What makes 5-Star great is that they also give you very clear and up front information about what to expect, they address many questions on their website and they also have pictures and videos of exactly what their boats looks like (unlike some boat tour companies that show a picture of a boat and you get something less). The video shows you everything about the boat. They picked up up four of us at our hotel near Mai Khao beach in a nice roomy van and took us to the marina (about 45 minute ride). Once there, that provide water, snacks, etc while you prepare for your tour. You complete some paperwork and off you go! We had a crew of three which is in itself very impressive considering there was only 4 of us on the tour. There is a driver, deckhand and the tour guide (Nee was ours but not sure if I am spelling that right). The tour was as described visiting the islands, having lunch at a great family Thai restaurant, canoeing into caves, walking in caves, swimming and snorkeling. This was a full day tour. The boat also has bluetooth so you can play your music from your iPhone while cruising - which I recommend as it makes the boat travel seem shorter between islands. Out guide Nee was great and the boat crew was also outstanding! Nee took many pictures and then sent a link for us to download them - so you don’t have to worry about taking your phone in the water, etc. I would highly recommend that if you are considering a boat tour in Phuket, you go with 5-Star Marine. You won’t find a more up front, communicative and professional boat tour company!

Shaun and the team were super helpful from day 1 since we booked the trip months ahead, from questions on the recommended activities or weather forecast and villa pick up arrangement, all went smooth!

The trip itself was just as perfect, this full day boat trip is definitely our main highlight of our family vacation! Will definitely recommend 5 Star Marine to all my friends and family!!

Amazing time had with Dewy and his crew. The trip was long but the views were worth it. Before the trip even began we were a bit dismayed as the weather suggested that the trip may not go as planned. We did not get to visit a couple places, nor did we get to go snorkeling as a result. What we did see and experience made up for it. We viewed the beautiful James Bond Islands and Phi Phi Islands. We entered the most interesring cave and we also stopped for a while on Monkey Island. Before the start of the trip we were served refreshments and while on the journey we were refueled with local fruits and an array of beverages. They also provided us with rain coats.

Dewy ensured we had our photos taken throughout the trip and they were sent to us via a drop box link afterwards. We stopped by a local restaurant somewhere off the beaten track and to this day, we can't stop talking about how amazing the food was, especially the desert which was coconut milk and bananas. It was out of this world. The dishes came with these sauces that were so delectable, I had to ask for some to take with me, which was happily provided. They partnered with another team and we received an awesome tour when we hopped off the speed boat and hopped into 3 seater canoes. It was so much fun. Those guides completed our day. They made us laugh so hard. Would strongly recommend and would do it again. Please ensure you bring your water shoes!

Chris and his crew, Sharon and Milan, who were incredibly caring and helpful. Despite having a small child with us, they ensured we all enjoyed the trip immensely.

If anyone is considering this tour, I highly recommend booking with 5 Star Marine without hesitation. Keep up the excellent work, and I am confident I will return and recommend your services to all my friends in India and the UAE.

I had read a bunch of mixed reviews on some of the other bigger operators so was almost abandoning the idea of seeing the islands. I then came across 5 Star Marine…did a few costings for our party of 7 and decided it was a no brainer.
If you want to see the islands then you MUST book with 5 Star Marine!
Booking was easy and we were kept updated prior to our tour at every stage, weather etc and we felt the communication was top notch, always an immediate reply to any questions.
Hotel pickup from Patong was on time, very nice driver, got to the pier and everything was so smooth, a small breakfast provided (thank you!!) and a brief of our tour from our expert guide, Nicky.
The boat was just great, a crew of 3 soft drinks, water provided, snorkeling gear all ready to go. Bluetooth system on the boat if you want to play your own tunes.
Our boat Lucas 15 was quick and nimble, able to get to places faster than the slower ferries. We had a full on day all the way from the Phi Phi islands up to James Bond island, we were given different options from Nicky as the weather and tides changed and we saw & did a lot on our tour. Stopped for a great lunch and beers, also had a beautiful fruit platter waiting for us after the canoeing, more snacks when we got back to the pier and our driver waiting to return us to Patong
We literally felt like Royalty having our own boat & crew for the whole day, by far the best experience we have done in Phuket!
Such an amazing team!
Don’t think twice about booking with 5 Star…Just do it!!

Wow. What a day. Swimming and snorkeling at Phi Phi, monkeys, an incredible lunch at Koh Yao Yai, caving and canoeing at Hong Island and James Bond. Magical adventure and beautiful islands. The weather wasn’t ideal but it didn’t really even matter. The boat has everything you need for a great day out. Incredible experience and great memories with wonderful people who go out of their way to make sure you are happy and having fun. Thanks Dewy, Nook and William. So worth it.
