THIS TOUR IS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER TOURS! I focus on food and drinks. The main focus is drinking at each spot while we eat some great food. I provide 5 hour tours. I will be taking you around the neighborhood that has the best food in Seoul, HANDS DOWN! There are tiny alleys that even Koreans don't know about! I have taken many people around here including my native Korean friends and they will agree that it is the best of the best! Just make sure to bring a huge appetite since we will be trying a ton of dishes!
I do not take you to places that you will be able to find on google or are commercialized. I take you to places you would typically not be able to go to on your own.
If you have dietary restrictions, please don't book or contact me first. There aren't many non-meat options.
The food and drinks are NOT included in the price of the tour. Everything is cheap and you will split the cost with the other people in the group. It gives you more flexibility to try or not try things.

I don't usually leave reviews but this tour was lovely, a great way to experience the street food of Seoul!
The tour guide was also happy to share some of his recommendations for some local places to visit for live music which I will definitely check out.

We met mike at the designated time and place and proceeded to tour a number of different eateries and places to try local drinks. We learned a lot and had a fabulous experience. We’ve been on a number of food tours around the globe and this one stands out for its comprehensive look at food and drink culture. It’s an excellent way to get to know korean culture!

This tour was just simply fun. Mike was an excellent guide; he ran the tour smoothly, explained different food/drink options (and gave recommendations), was fun to hang out with, etc. Checked all the boxes.
I’m not much of a foodie and not exactly adventurous when it comes to trying new food, but I tried several things out of my comfort zone on this tour and am glad I did. Options range from standard flavors to the more exotic, so there is something for everyone.
Our group was really fun too, which seems to be the norm for this tour (and food/drinking tours in general). People seem to want to have a good time, which helps make the experience. Highly recommend if in Seoul!

Korean is an amazing place to visit. Eating there is insane and the bakeries and coffee shops are on another level. Every restaurant we went to was better than last. One thing is that most restaurants serve a minimum of 2 people and if you go to bbq or soup restaurants you have to order 2 portions of meat and beef is expensive and small portions. Many historical sights if you are 65 and over show your ID you can get in for free. I think its the same with subway as well. The subway is a bit confusing as lines criss-cross alot and sometime you get charged for changing lines. However the taxis I found were really cheap. Don't have to tip but they do appreciate it. There are levels of taxis and the cheapest ones are the small grey-white ones. If you get in a minivan or black they charge a bit more. Less english speakers than I thought. Street food is delicious and cheap. Drinks at convenience store like CU are extremely sweet. The prepared foods are not bad though-decent. Fruit is insanely expensive I paid $20 for 4 apples. Expect to pay alot more in tourist areas. ie, iced americano can range from 2000 to 6000 ($1.50-$4.50). Prepare to walk uphill or alot of stairs. Korea has alot of parks where you can get a bit of a break from the city. Everything is very clean but there are no trashcans anywhere. I don't drink but soju and makarli are sold everywhere. Skincare is not cheap. I went to a clinic and I was surprised by the cost. $5,800 for Ulthera treatment.

My husband and I had such an amazing experience on this tour with Mike. He was so knowledgeable and created a welcoming experience in a city that can feel overwhelming. After the tour he gave us excellent recommendations for the rest of our days Seoul! Cannot recommend more for adventures eaters and drinkers!

Mike is a great local guide! This was a really fun tour with lots of opportunities to try new food & drinks and meet new people. Well organized and Mike was very willing to customize what we did on the fly during the tour to make sure every person got the experience they were looking for. Group size was perfect for exploring & getting to try a bit of everything (< 12).
