The driver and tour guide were great. After a rough start, because the pick up was a few minutes late, we had a good time. We did not feel rushed, The tour guide was knowledgable and engaging with the group.

Narration by Theodore was informative and entertaining during the long ride from the pickup point to the site which was about an hour each way.
Pick up directly at the hotel was a very nice convenience.
It was clear that the sides we visited that finding a parking spot would have been a challenge if we had tried to drive ourselves.
It proved that taking a guided tour with a bus that could drop you off was definitely the way to go.

The place was scenic and beautiful! Our tour guide was quite knowleadgable and shared some interesting historical facts as well as some good local tips. The time at the beach was excellent. Also, the stop at the lake. We went back to the lake another day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The guide and the driver were TERRIFIC! Adonis drive safely and Georgia was full of fascinating history and mythology! Her English is excellent, and she is very entertaining . The beach stop was refreshing, and the timing for the sunset was perfect!

The scenery was very beautiful and our guide, Athena, was very knowledgeable. I was surprised that once we got to the temple there wasn’t any guiding but just walking around on our own. So, this is a good trip when in a group.

Fantastic quick trip to the Temple of Poseidon with a knowledgeable tour guide! I enjoyed the sights and downtime we were given to explore or relax, it was a great tour of the area.

We enjoyed this tour, we saw places we'd never have gone to on our own. Georgia was our guide and Alexander was our driver . They were both excellent.
If you take the sunset tour, you should eat ahead of time or bring food. There is food for purchase at the beach but it's overpriced.
There is barely any time to grab food at the temple. You wait in line for tickets , then another line for the bathroom, and a third line for food.
After we bought food we were told we couldn't eat it by the temple, and we barely made the cutoff time to enter. That part of the tour was very rushed .

We booked last minute and found it to be a great way to wrap up our last day in Greece watching a breathtaking sunset next to the Temple of Poseidon. It also was a great way to get there since we were without a personal vehicle and unwilling to pay an expensive taxi fee. Theodore made an engaging tour from Athens to Sounio and the stops we made were a great way to break up the commute. We were shown the beautiful lake before the beach. I overheard some tour members saying they wish to go to the lake rather than the beach. I would agree as another tour option. We would definitely tour with Getaway Tours again 😊
