We actually did 3 tours with them, and our guide Khalil. He was kind, and super fun and welcoming. We did the 1/2 day city tour, this one and the Nizwa one. All amazing.
Thanks for the exceptional experiences, memories and for being an ambassador for Omani hospitality.

we arrived by ship, and as promised on my previous confirmation emails driver was waiting for us right outside at designated spot.
our day was to go visit wadi shab, hike and swim, then make a quick stopover at the sinkhole.
everything was gorgeous and great.
it was a scorching hot day. this excursion is only and should only be booked if you are in good shape. there is a lot of hiking, and rocks are slippery. if you are not prepared to hike the heat, and walk at least 3 miles , do not book it .
views are spectacular. you will be rewarded for your had work.
if you are not in that good shape, I highly recommend going to sinkhole only.
there are even stairs to the swimming area and it still gorgeous and fun to do.
we ended up not swimming there and my friends that were with us, wished that we did not go to wadi shab and only went to swimming hole. it would have been a lot less of a work out.

There are so many levels of tours. But I take two kinds, the first is the most sophisticated, its the find me something unique get me off the beaten path tour and the second is the hey I'm in a strange country make it easy and safe for me to see the tourist highlights.
My guide was Abdul Malik, a pleasant man and competent for style two trips, but he didn't bring any real insights to my visit. Mostly I think because his english was too basic for us to communicate at a high level.
We did have fun together and it was good exercise climbing the Wadi.
From what I can tell this tour is about a nice walk in a beautiful place. Be warned however the terrain is tricky, over pebbles and smooth slippery rocks and in the end if you want to swim, getting to the pristine waters is a challenging swim walk up a canyon not accessible on foot. 10 minute swim maybe.
I would not go out of my way to take this journey or recommend it. I took three other tours with Oman day Tours all more interesting and successful. You can read about them here in TA.

1. Wadi Tour
Time was prompt. The guide was very very good and explained a lot of things.
The lunch was good also. Great scenery and astonishing environment
2. Snorkeling and Dolphin Tour.
The Dolphin tour was great. Got to see a lot of dolphins.
Snorkeling was below expectation. The water was thick could not see much not much fish.
3. Fishing Trip.
The experience was great. The guide and the boat driver were fun and helpful.
I think I caught all the fish I can get for a year. Going for the fishing tour again
