If you are planning a trip to Palermo, a tour with Cetty Spoto, is the perfect way to learn about this fascinating city/island. The tour combines interesting historical information with local culture and traditions. She takes you to places that would otherwise be missed, and helped us plan further outings in Sicily. Cetty is a wonderful tour guide, we highly recommend.

My wife and I spent two days with Cetty and it was a fantastic experience. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, with a pleasant communication style. When I booked the tours, I had only a few requests and asked her to tailor it for us to see what she felt was important. In addition to touring Palermo, I asked for a visit to Monreale, where my grandparents were born, as well as the Santuary of Saint Rosalie. We learned a lot about the history of Palermo, its people and architecture. I had the address where my grandmother lived in Monreale before immigrating to the US as a young girl. I could not find it on the map, but Cetty was able to find it through our driver and take us there. Overall Cetty was a fantastic guide who made our first visit here a memorable experience.

This was our first visit to Palermo. This tour was a perfect way to get aquatinted with the historical sites and the markets. Our tour guide, Cetty, is a wealth of information and just a delight to spend time with. She tailored the tour to our interests and showed us everything she could. She suggested excellent sites for us to visit and places to eat on our own. Her suggestions were spot on. We were able to make the most of our time in this fantastic city. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Palermo.

Cetty is an extraordinary guide. She gave us an amazing introduction walking tour of her fascinating, beautiful and complex hometown of Palermo.
She provided far more than just history and stunning sights---she was very open about life in Palermo and it's joys and challenges. Can't say enough good things about our time with her. Cetty is smart, engaging, knowegable and fun.

Cetty was a wonderful guide through Palermo for our small group of four! Her knowledge and love of the city is apparent in her enthusiastic 3 hour walking tour. We had wanted to see the markets and as many historical buildings as we could manage within our time frame. Her knowledge of Greek, Roman, Arab, Norman and contemporary history, art and architecture was expertly shared with us. It was wonderful to share her enthusiasm throughout our time in Palermo with her. When we wanted to do a bit of shopping along the way she was able to take us to specialty stores that catered to our interests away from the touristy stalls. When we wanted to try the local street food in the marketplace Cetty navigated us through the crowds to find delicious tidbits from the best shops. I highly recommend Cetty to get to know Palermo; we learned so much - and her fluency in English was such a bonus! Thank you for a terrific afternoon!!

Cetty gave us a wonderful walking tour of Palermo’s city center. She is quite knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. She was also able to accommodate my father-in-law who needed to use a wheelchair. He enjoyed it thoroughly.

I had two wonderful tours with Cetty. She was a great guide and companion to see Palermo. I saw all of the sights I requested and she even routed us through markets so I could experience more of Palermo. She was very flexible and accommodating—including helping me to find gluten-free foods to enjoy. I highly recommend Cetty as a guide.

We really enjoyed our introduction to Palermo, thanks to our great guide, Cetty. We learned so much in the three hours we walked and talked with her—all between raindrops! She was very knowledgeable about the city she calls home and was very willing to share both the city’s history, as well as information about the city today. She was flexible about sites we wanted to visit, which we appreciated. Thanks Cetty for a wonderful morning.
