We recommend this tour to cyclists who want a mountain bike excursion on the Etna volcano, and who wish to enjoy the scenery that these places can offer.
Important: this is not an experience suitable for mountain biking beginners.
Included in the price are our muscle MTB (Hardtail 29er).

KM and duration of the MTB Tour: 18 Km (approximately, based on the solutions adopted by the guide for the return, choice based mainly on your physical and technical abilities), duration 2 hours (approximately).
Total duration of the Tour with the Pick-Up service from our headquarters in Catania, to the Start Point on the Etna volcano, approximately 4/5 hours.

Luca was the perfect guide. Provided gloves and jacket. Did a great job educating me on Catania and the history of Mt Etna. Highly recommend this adventure.

Great to mtb-bike at Etna. Great guide that met expectations. Suitable for people that can bike 20+km and wish to experience vulcanic sand paths.

Very nice experience, the tour guide was wonderful for us and we enjoyed the scenes and ride. The tours can be quite tough if you are inexperienced.
There was enough time to rest and enjoy the scenery.

Bike Sicily picked us up at the ship as planned. Beautiful ride up to mount Etna. We biked but my husband and I struggled a bit due to altitude, and probably our state of fitness. Luca, our guide, was supportive and understanding and let us have breaks as needed. He then drove us to the top to see the crater. A wonderful experience

If you want to see Mt. Etna and love MTB, this is an excellent tour. You ride on the south side of the peak with great views of the summit and towns and valleys below. You don’t go to the top. It is absolutely beautiful, and we were even pleasantly surprised to ride through a swarm of thousands of lady bugs!
I did the half day extreme tour, and loved it. It isn’t extreme as far as obstacles or challenging single track, but there are some mild obstacles, and we did a lot of climbing (~2000 ft total). If you aren’t a skilled, in shape rider, do the easier tour.
They provided a decent bike, energy packs, helmet and windbreaker.
Luca, my guide, was great, and booking was easy. Highly recommended for mountain bikers who want to see Mt. Etna in a unique way.

We spent an awesome morning at Etna. The Tour was challenging enough, the landscape was beautiful and the bikes worked well.
Our guide Luca led the Tour in a wonderful way, with his diverse facts about the Sicilian lifestyle and Ethna.

We had a fantastic day with Luca. He picked us up in the old town of Catania and drove us all the way up to the starting point, approximately 1 hour drive. Luca had good equipment with him, one normal MTB and one E MTB.
During the ride Luca shared a lot of information of mount Etna, eruptions and the landscape with us, which was really great.
Halfway, Luca let us decide if we wanted to take the Easy Plus tour or the Advance/Extreme tour back. We took the latter and that was really not disappointing. What a magnificent landscape!
Although the trails were technical, with some good MTB experience and the right equipment (E MTB) or physical shape they can be done well.
