A unique way to experience the island is by driving your own buggy and visiting the most popular places in Sint Maarten.
The tour is guided and goes around the whole island, both Dutch and French sides.
We will be driving along the coastline, in the 2 capital cities french and Dutch side with stops at the beach for refreshing sweam, drinks, or lunch.
We stop by a few places for a nice view and beaches for a relaxing and refreshing time.

We booked this tour when the snorkelling tour we booked thru our cruise was canceled - wanted to see the island without spending so much time at the beach & the description had maybe 20 minutes at the beach. It was supposed to be a four hour tour starting at 9:30. We were supposed to see both Dutch & French sides, Maho beach where the planes fly over, Marisol & maybe a couple of other sights. We waited a while at tbe shop, then got taken to the highest point of the island for the view & then went back to the shop, where we waited a while to be tacked onto a group from a hotel. The group had problems keeping their helmets on & following dirscfions. We startded out again & drove a while, ending up at the beach where we spent 1.5 hours at a small restaurant/bar on the beach next to the nude beach. By the time we got to Marisol for shopping time we were already an hour over time & we were told we could go to the souveneir area a bakery or Coconut man. Tbe bakery was closed & the sovenier shops were more like open air tents with similar stuff not of interest. After that we had to stop & wait in the buggy while all the hotel people got returned to their hotel in a van. Finally we were led back to the shop. I dropped my husband & daughter off at the port to be sure they got back & returned the buggy to the shop. At least I was given a ride back to the port entrance with 45 minutes til all aboard. The 'what to expect' was not accurate & I felt that the group staying on the island took priority & getting us back in time for our cruise departure didb't seem all that important to our guides.

We had a blast. We were a group of eight people, ages from 6 to 47 and we all had a great time. This experience of learning the island driving the buggies was amazing. The tour guide/photographer was very professional, kind, excellent and great with the kids.
