This full-day excursion will allow you to first visit the picturesque village of Castiglione di Sicilia and then taste some wines of strictly local production, among the excellences in the field of the Etnean viticulture and not, discovering also the interesting production phases, walking through vineyards and ancient wineries.
You will visit the first winery where you'll have a wine tasting; in the second winery, we'll also offer you lunch with typical Sicilian products.

This was a fun tour of 2 wineries and visit to Castiglione.
The first winery was the most interesting with information re production and varieties.
Disappointing to visit 2 wineries outside and no cellar visit. The guide said they do not do wineries with cellars ?
Tony our driver and guide was very interesting, friendly and helpful.
Lunch was very nice at second winery.
Easy to meet tour at bus station in Taormina.

Incredible scenery! Our guide Roberto was so knowledgeable and informative. We had an amazing experience travelling with him. We visited two fantastic wineries where amazing food and wine was served. Mount Etna and the surrounding villages are so beautiful. I highly recommend this tour.

Etna People did a great job selecting the wineries to visit. We were offered an ample variety of tastes and an insight into local wine production. Roberto is a marvelous guide, attentive yet humorous, with a deep affection towards places he shows.

We did three tours with Etna People. All three were really good, we were picked up near where we were staying. Our drivers, Alfio and Ricardo were excellent; very friendly and helpful. It was really nice to be in small groups.
I would thoroughly recommend this company.

We have been to the craters of Mt Etna and a tasting at Gambino on a prior trip so we were looking for a wine tasting that offered something different. This tour fit the bill perfectly. For Starters, our guide Roberto was great; personable, informative, and a genuinely nice guy. After about an hours ride from Taormina, we stopped off at a really nice old village where Roberto lead us through the village to ancient churches and a fortress, all the time sharing their backgrounds. There are also great views of Etna from there as well. After that we went for 2 wine tastings one of which included a full lunch and both included a tour of the facilities. Not a big fan of Etna wines but we enjoyed the tastings. We know this isn't the highlight Etna and Gambino tour, but with this one you can enjoy a tasting without the crowds that Gambino draws plus walk through a nice small town. Highly recommended.

This was so much more than a winery tour thanks to Tony— our knowledgeable tour guide. As he is native to the area, he was able to share personal anecdotes about living proximal to the volcano; and the unique qualities of the Mountain Etna region due to weather and its’ geologic nature making it conducive environment for wine production. Our visit to historic Castiglione di Sicila was especially meaningful for me as we traced our oldest known ancestor from this town. The views from the castle were stunning. The staff at the wineries were welcoming and knowledgeable and the tastings did not disappoint.My only criticism would be that I thought we would have seen more about the actual production of the wine contrasting the mechanized versus the natural. I would recommend this tour to anyone given the same guide.

Really interesting tour. Our guide Roberto told so much about Etna in a very interesting and engaging way. The winery visits were good and the lunch offered with wine pairings was even surprisingly good. Highly recommend!

Great wine tour with guide Giuseppe. Visited the hill town of Castiglione de Sicilia then 2 lovely wineries. We had a charcuterie board at first winery and a delicious lunch at the second. It was a lovely day and would recommend to others.
