Walk onto the Battlefield with tour guide Fiona with a bit of Gaelic singing along with a whisky toast. Another picturesque drive to Cawdor where you can wander the castle and gardens. You then have another beautifully scenic drive back to Invergordon going a different way than you came to take in the most of the Scottish Highlands!

All entrance fees included and paid in advance so you can walk straight into the castles without waiting around in a queue.

1. Beauly
The drive to Loch Ness is very picturesque taking you through rolling hills and farmland. Along the way you will have an opportunity to hear about the history of the area and find out a little more about your guide and their experiences of living in the Scottish Highlands.
2. Urquhart Castle
Arrive at the 14th-century Urquhart Castle ruins, magnificently situated right on the edge of the loch it is one of the most photographed scenes in Scotland. Enjoy a video presentation and an optional audio tour plus your guide will be there to answer any questions. You'll have time to explore the ruins and enjoy the magnificent views over the loch.

You will board the Jacobite rebel from Dochgarroch Locks for a 60-minute cruise on the world famous loch to Urquhart Castle. This is truly the best way to experience Loch Ness and the Great Glen. You will learn all about Nessie the Loch Ness Monster and hear about the history and geology of the fresh water lake. Loch Ness is surrounded by beautiful scenery and mountains so sit back, enjoy the views and have your camera out just in case Nessie pops up to say hello. There's also a fully stocked bar and coffee service on board.
4. Culloden Moor
Great place to grab a bite to eat, explore the visitor centre which includes a 360 degree immersive cinema experience. For those who are interested your tour guide Fiona will also give a short walking tour on the battlefield.
5. Cawdor Castle
Arrive at Cawdor Castle where you can peruse the castle, gardens and grounds.They also serve delicious food, teas, coffees and home baking.

Fiona and her staff were amazing. The tour is the most complete tour available, well organized to consent an immersive visit in scotland. In few hours Fiona guided us through a lot of beautiful and interesting landscapes and things, with a full immersion in the scottish spirit and culture. Fiona told us a lot of interesting stories about gaelic culture e she was able to transform a traditional tour in an emotional experience, that we won’t forget. Fiona and her staff were the added value of this tour.

Fiona was a wonderful guide! One of the best we have had. She goes above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable and memorable.

We were very fortunate to have beautiful weather so we’re able to truly enjoy the locations we stopped at. The amount o time spent at each location felt very appropriate.

The only thing Fiona was not able to do was magically produce a herd of highland cows for us to pet…lol
Would highly recommend this tour.

The entire tour was great! Fiona was an exceptional guide, taught us so much about Scotland. Only wish we had more time… the driver, Lachie was also great! Definitely recommend this tour! She had good Scottish snacks and drinks! I even won a raffle prize at the end of the tour!

We booked our 2024 Regal Princess British Isles cruise in June 2023. That started our search for tours. We came across this tour and decided this is what we wanted. Upon searching their website, we found they offered a Regal Princess 'Ultimate Loch Ness Private Tour', but it wasn't available yet. We asked Gavin to let us know when 2024 tours became available, which he did.

We made the right choice.

Fiona and Lucky were great.

Fiona was our tour guide and was absolutely amazing. The weather was not ideal but she made the best of it and was so knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour.

This was the best tour that we took on our British Isles cruise! Fiona was our tour guide and Lucky our driver. The trip was very well organized with a comfortable coach and amazing itinerary. Fiona was very knowledgeable and made the tour unique with her singing, humor, gifts, and whisky toast. Highly recommended!!!

We had a great day with our excellent guide Glenn and driver Kyle. The company was very easy to deal with and super conscious of tour schedule relative to cruise ship departure. Easy to find as you leave the Invergordon pier.Our first choice tour was cancelled due to driver illness but we were offered an upgraded tour for no extra cost - sweet! This was one of our favorite tours. Fiona (tour guide) was an absolute pleasure. She was very knowledgeable and brought a special touch with her singing, gifts of local treats and other items. Book this tour if you want to see a lot in one day and really learn about Scotland.

I went with my sister and her fam and my mom. We saw all the cool things. It seemed a bit rushed in parts, but it’s understandable to run a tight ship with such a large group. Fiona was super thoughtful and cute and even played music for and sang for us and we had a traditional whiskey toast at Culloden battlefield that was particularly delightful. Cawdor was amazing! Highly recommend being a sunflower with Fiona. Great day.
