We have done a half day trip to the main palace to see the guard changing ceremony, a traditional village and ginseng museum. Our guide, Orota, was great, fun and very knowleadgeable…

My family had a wonderful half day tour with our guide Orota. It was a hot day, but Orota got us into the shade before explaining the history of each site. For the Gyeongbokgung Palace tour she situated her group of eight tourists in the front along the rope at the perfect picture spot for changing of the guard. For the Bukchon Village site she took pictures for the three families at the most picturesque spots with our phones.

Melvin was a very cheerful, very helpful, very informative guide. Taking us in the back gate meant we saw most of the grounds as if we were a private tour.

Everyhing was great except for the the Ginseng place, which was hard sell, just like a Tunisian rug market.

Another couple realised too late that they’d already done the tour. The guide was lovely enough to arrange an alternate itinerary for them

What a wonderful tour, especially for someone who is visiting Seoul for the first time and limited to a day. Learned some history through the Palace tour and then enjoyed Ihwha Mural Village, popular even with the locals. My guide was knowledgeable, helpful and help me find some delicious food in the Gwangjang Market.

Tour was for small group and we ended with our English-speaking guide just for the 2 of us. (4 other Japanese tourist in the same tour had another Japanese-speaking guide). The places visited was good but it was our tour guide, Julie, who was excellent and friendly, who brought made the tour more alive with her sharing interesting stories about the places we visited. She also brought extra heat packs for us.
