I bought 5 tickets to Galleria dell’Accademia in Firenze and paid 110€ for them.
Two days before my trip they just sent me an email saying that they could not provide the tickets because they were unavailable and suggesting a refund.
I email back asking about the procedurs to have my refund and they just don't answer. I even tried to call the office but without sucess.
It's just a SCAM as all previous reviews say.
Stay away from them.

I'm sure we would have enjoyed going to the Accademia Gallery but unfortunately the tour guide cancelled the tour 24 hours before it was to start. I find it interesting that we are not allowed to cancel or make changes once we book but their is no consequences for the tour company to cancel on you last minute. I will never recommend to anyone that they attempt to book this tour. I would have been better off booking tickets on my own, which were available when I booked in March, but thought using this company and paying more to have the benefit of less time in line would be better for my family. That was a mistake on my part and thanks to this company my family was too late to get tickets since they cancelled with only 24 HOURS before. This means the company never secured my tickets at the time of purchase, which was MARCH. Viator should never recommend or use this type of tour company.

I am absolutely furious with Weekend in Italy for ruining my trip to Florence. I purchased what I thought was a ticket to the Accademia Gallery, only to be handed a useless voucher with a confirmation number that I was assured would get me into the museum.
I arrived at the museum 15 minutes early at 7:45, only to be told by the ticket controller that my voucher was not a valid ticket. I was denied entry. In a state of shock and frustration, I called Weekend in Italy. After giving them my confirmation number, I was curtly informed that my order had been canceled and that I would receive a refund the next day. This crucial information was never communicated to me beforehand.
As a result of their gross incompetence, I had to stand in line for about 4 hours just to buy a ticket. This completely destroyed my plans and wasted the precious little time I had in Florence—I was only there for 1.5 days!
This agency's lack of professionalism and failure to provide clear communication is absolutely unacceptable. Their service is a joke and their ineptitude completely ruined what should have been a highlight of my trip. I would strongly advise anyone planning a visit to Florence to avoid Weekend in Italy at all costs. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and will likely ruin your plans just as they did mine.

The day before we received a note that our tickets were cancelled. We booked them months in advance and all we were told was it was too crowded to get tickets confirmed. It would have been nice to get more advance notice for the cancellation or not receive the message we were confirmed when we booked.

After all the email confrontations up to the day before our tour you were unable to get our tickets. Very disappointing, we won’t be using your company again. Hopefully I we will receive our refund. 😡

DON’T USE THEM!
A few days prior they sent email to notify us they didn’t have tickets for us and we could try to get them at the door. They said “time we picked was very busy, good luck.” This would be the only reason we used them. Waiting on refund.

I wasn’t sent my actual entry ticket and in the end had to pay for entry again once at the museum. Weekend in Italy are happy to take your money but don’t provide clear information on how to actually access your ticket, if it does indeed exist. The customer service person replying to negative reviews seems rude and keen to blame the customer rather than acknowledging Weekend in Italy’s shortcomings and doing something to address this. My experience was clearly not an isolated example.

Fabulous gallery! Ticket vs line process is misleading as everyone waits in a line but that does not take away from a truly awesome gallery.
