Canyoning is a sport that is booming a little bit everywhere around the world. It begins with a short hike to the upper mouth of a canyon to then descend into the creek bed while passing obstacles we find on our way. In this adventure you will rappel down hiden waterfalls, shoot down natural slides and jump into deep pools.
Okanagan Canyoning tours are offered by Western Canyoning Adventure that has been operating for 5 years in the Rockies. The mix of the knowledge of our local guides and the expertise of an already well established structure is allowing us to bring you in to those magical places that are canyons in the Kelowna area.
No need for previous experience to come on a trip with us. Our fully certified guides are here to teach you everything you need to know and provide all the specific gear.

I can't say enough about how great this was. We've never done canyoning but were down to try something new. If you're adventurous, even if you haven't done stuff like it, I recommend it! My sister and I went with Matt as our guide. He was so knowledgeable, thoughtful and attentive. We felt safe and well cared for, and also he was personable and fun. :)
If we ever are back in Kelowna we are for sure doing it again—and I'm likely to seek it out wherever I travel to. It was that great!

A group of friends were visiting Kelowna and stumbled across this Canyoning tour. It was absolutely spectacular - Matt and Nathan were our guides and made sure we had an incredible time while always feeling safe.
It was a wonderful introduction to canyoning (the first time for all of us!), the scenery was stunning, and was probably my favourite activity in Kelowna. It was also lovely how they took heaps of photos and videos of us.
Highly recommend to check it out!! It's absolutely worth it!

Fun, adventurous and accessible even for those of us that aren’t super athletic! I’m so glad I found this unique and total gem of an activity. You will get excitement, nature, views, and thrills! You will not regret booking this! We had an incredible time. From the customer service, to our guides, to the actual tour, everything was pretty much perfect. Matt and Robyn are so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and patient. They provided extremely clear and very helpful instructions while making us look forward to our tour. Their experience and expertise in canyoning and guiding really shone through. Even though some in our group were very inexperienced and some didn’t follow instructions (not bringing the appropriate shoe wear, putting on your equipment on as instructed, unruly children) Matt and Robyn made it work while remaining calm, in control and keeping all 11 of us safe for 4 hours! Oh and thank you so much for the pictures, truly an added bonus!

Loads of fun, a bit chilly at times, but beautiful place and a friendly, helpful and safe guide.
Would recommend for those able to cope with moderate heights and are not afraid of a spot of rushing water.

Amazing trip with amazing guides, Robyn and Matt! This was the most fun we had on our trip to Kelowna. Definitely recommend experiencing canyoning, you’ll want to go again!

Our guide Matt seemed very experienced, was helpful and devoted. We were lucky that there were only two of us, so the personal attention was excellent. From the meeting point we drove about 10 minutes to the canyon, changed clothes and then had to walk another 10-15 minutes until we entered the canyon. And then there were really only wow moments. As canyoning beginners, we were a bit timid at first, but with Matt’s patient support, the waterfalls, slides, via ferrata and jumps were no problem. We had great fun and the scenery there is just fantastic! At the end of the approximately two-hour tour we climbed out of the canyon and were directly at the car. Matt even brought a pop-up tent to change.
This will certainly not have been our last canyoning adventure!

Exciting, challenging and fun adventure through a beautiful canyon! I had been on tour with the company before but we explored a different section of the canyon this time around which was amazing! Our guides Matt and Guillaume were just great and made sure everyone was safe and felt looked after at all times. Highly recommend!

The whole experience was rad! The slides and rappelling had our adrenaline pumping but we felt super safe the entire time. Matt led us with confidence through the canyon and we had a nice time with our group.
