1. Gamat Bay
Gamat Bay Snorkeling Point is very beautiful and still natural, The place is not crowded by tourists is suitable for relaxing cooling down your mind. Gamat Bay has very clean sand, soft and colorful corals are so beautiful. This area is highly favored by local divers to see marine exotic sea. The current was fairly heavy, it is recommended only divers who have advanced some people do. There is a diverse group of corals and coral mounds, almost all area of seabed from sandy Gamat Bay. Charming natural scenery with the sea water is very clear, making the diver can not wait to infiltrate into it. You will not found dive sites like this again complete with rocks and steep slopes. There is another small cracks surrounded by a variety of marine fish, certainly adds to the charm of the place.
2. Crystal Bay
Crystal Bay is quite accessible thanks to well-developed roads, besides its beautiful palm-fringed beach, the bay is best known as one of Nusa Penida’s famous snorkelling and dive sites. Near the shore, the waves are swimmable during calmer tides with crystal-clear waters, hence its name. Divers praise the superb visibility, sometimes down to 30 metres. Crystal Bay is a short drive west from the Coco Resort Penida. This is one of the a very few resorts on the island’s western region. Down at the dark sand beach, you may find a couple of parasol-shaded sunbeds available for rent from locals.

Manta Point Snorkeling is so named as it’s one of the main dive sites in Bali where you can spot manta rays. These graceful rays are visible on almost every dives, along with spotted stingrays and nurse sharks. You can dive here all year round, however, the best time to go is usually between August and October, when visibility can be an excellent 20 metres deep. Most trips depart from the dive resorts on Nusa Lembongan, or from the coasts of Sanur and Padang Bai on the Bali mainland. The waters around Manta Point can get fairly cold, due to the open currents from the Indian Ocean. However, visibilty is often excellent here, allowing you to better explore and photograph the prolific marine life under the surface. Other sights to see here include occasional sea turtles, reef sharks, and the oceanic sunfish ormola-mola. At around 10 metres within the protected bay, mantas freely roam and feed in the plankton-rich waters while enjoying the symbiotic company of cleaner wrasses who rid their bodies of parasites.
4. Angel's Billabong
Angel's Billabong located nearby Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), another popular site with unique limestone formations. The naturally formed rock lagoon offers a scenic seascape. You can descend into its crystal-clear rock pools for a swim or a soak, but only during low tide. The rock pools are one of the must-sees for visitors to Nusa Penida. The island itself is famous for its beautiful cliffs and pristine coastlines. Both Angel's Billabong and Broken Beach are very popular sites here. However, you’ll most likely have this amazing natural infinity pool all to yourself on your visit. It’s a good idea to explore Broken Beach first nearby. Take in the splendour of its natural limestone arches over the blue waters. Then, head off to take a dip and perhaps a swim in the natural pools of Angel’s Billabong.
5. Pasih Uug Beach
Broken Beach spot is marked by a hilly arch-like rock formation, which is the distinguishable landmark of the area. Set over the crashing waves of the open Indian Ocean, Broken Beach is a great spot for travel photographers and panoramic view seekers. The adjacent area is also home to grey long-tailed macaques. If you’re lucky, you may spot silhouettes of giant mantas near the surface of the deep blue water.

Kelingking Beach you can enjoy the sweeping views from a purpose-built platform, which is bordered by bamboo fences. If you dare the challenging trek down to the beach, make sure it’s during low tide. Some sections of the path can be steep, requiring a bit of rock climbing, especially on the way back up. Locals have put rocks and bamboos to aid visitors over the years. Once you’ve reached the sand, you’ll have it all to yourself most of the time. Depending on tide conditions, the waters are swimmable. However, note that the undercurrents can be strong, and being the remote site that it is, there are no lifeguards around. Besides your camera and a good pair of shoes, be sure to bring drinking water with you on the descent, to keep you hydrated. You can combine your visit to Kelingking Beach with a visit to an interesting temple nearby.

This package isnt worth the money especially if you are trying to book one with snorkelling.

The snorkelling guy didnt have enough life jackets or masks on the boat. Though he managed to get the masks (it delayed the overall trip though) for everyone but he couldn’t manage a life jacket for me. He had some but either they were broken or the size wasnt right.

Because of this, we (i and my wife) had to exchange each other’s life jackets. Out of 3 spots, i could snorkel at only 1 site because of this.

In addition to this, the guide didnt explain anything about snorkelling. Since we were doing it for the first time, we had to see other customers to learn how to use the mask, etc. The guide could have explained the basics atleast. This is basic courtesy.

The snorkelling photos taken were also very poor quality and from random angles.

Overall, our snorkelling experience was ruined because of the incompetency of your snorkelling guide.

Perfect trip for a family! We were in Ubud. Pick up and drop off from there. All managed by the team. Really beautiful snorkling. We have seen even a Manta! In the afternoon we have seen the most beautiful beach of Nusa Penida.

The whole day trip ran smoothly, from start to end. Budi was super efficient and organised everything for us, from pickup, boat, entry tickets, driver on Nusa Penida, lunch. Nusa Penida - amazing snorkelling and siteseeing!

Didn’t get to see any Manta Ray, but did see a turtle, a couple of dolphins and loads of fish.

Snorkelling was amazing and worth the trip from where we were staying in Nusa Dua. The guides were amazing in helping us all have a look at the fish, turtle and manta rays.

The island is beautiful and the views of the ocean surreal - highly recommend going at least once.

The meals provided weren't great and snorkelling experience is highly weather dependent but the place is beautiful.

Budi and Uncle Budi were our drivers and did an excellent job transporting us safely to our destinations.

We had a great trip today! Budi and Arya were able to fit our group of 20 in with only one day’s notice, communicated well, and arrived promptly. There were many stops throughout the day but they helped us move quickly, see everything, and went above and beyond to drive us to a different destination and take many pictures for us! 100% recommend!
