The best way to get to know a place within the city is by visiting it with true local people, during our tour we will be interacting with them. As this is a completely private tour, we can adjust to the needs that are often required.

Keep in mind that due to the museum occupancy, the Frida Kahlo museum is the last point to touch.

Esly, our tour guide, was the most memorable part. She is like a walking encyclopedia. She is so knowledgable. She made our tour fantastic. I can't say enough good things about her.

Jaime was an amazing guide who expertly guided our group of 10 through all the activities in a comfortably sized passenger van. We were a bit low on energy due to a full day of activities the day prior, but Jaime was able to raise our spirits in no time. We had lots of fun chanting, singing with the Mariachis, trying various flavors of pulque, bargaining with the river merchants, and eating some very good food at the Coyoacan market. Highly recommend doing this tour with Jaime!

It was an okay experience for the price. Our tour guide didn’t really “tour” us or add a lot of additional information. Just a few basics- maybe 3 to 5 facts all-in. Also, we went to Xochilmico first, so it was early and a lot of the vendor boats weren’t operating yet so we didn’t get the full experience. There was no tour of Coyoacan- we had limited time before the museum (we were on the boats a long time) so we really only had time to eat.

A must do tour, when visiting Mexico City!.. Lalo was very knowledgeable on his history and random facts throughout our city tour. From his pick up to our drop off he was very welcoming. I totally recommend this tour and Lalo.

We were delighted to meet our driver, Elsy, who gave a first day visit and first hand view of Mexico City. She was very knowledgeable about the nuances of life in Mexico City and the history of the country. We had a fun day with Elsy - who is very energetic and enthusiastic - and would recommend her to all travelers.

My family loved this tour mostly because of our excellent tour guide Edwardo he was very informative of the location we went to everything he suggested to try as far as food was amazing. He was very caring in Asking in advance of likes and dislikes of things to do. We were picked up on time from the location. It was worth it if you are coming to Mexico City make sure to book with Stepping Mexico and ask for Edwardo as your guide. We loved that he was present for every part of the tour and guided us through each location. Thank you so much Edwardo for an amazing day. And thank you paco for driving us to each location ❤️

Patricia Blake with Viator was AMAZING! She is highly educated and knowledgeable on La historia de Mexico! Challenge her with interesting questions and she will not disappoint but surprise you with her honesty. My wife and I have been to over 70 countries each and she is the BEST tour guide we’ve ever had. Patient, kind, and muy intelligente! We’ve already recommended her to other people traveling there.
Gracias por todos Patricia! ERES INCREIBLE!!!

Esly is an awesome guide! We got off to a late start since the tickets to the Frida Kahlo museum were not until later during the day plus two accidents but she was still able to fit everything without seeming to rush. Xochimilco is a must-see. I hope the axolotls eventually make it back to the lake. The tacos on the boat were awesome and they went well with the tub of beer (order the "small" if you don't want to drink a bucket of Corona). Frida Kahlo's house was amazing, and Coyoacan was super nice. The market has everything including fried grasshopper and tarantula, which goes well with mescal.
