This was a very good tour. The only down side was a guide who talked to a coach full of adults like young children! It felt more like a school outing than a tour for adults and we wondered if she was or had been a school teacher. However, she was a nice woman, and the tour and places visited were excellent.

We really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it. It’s a full day but we were back in Reykjavik in time for dinner. Jennifer, ouR guide, was great. Very knowledgeable and was able to keep everyone on schedule. Seeing the glacier was amazing and the last waterfall was spectacular (but if you climb up to go behind it, be careful—it’s very wet and a bit slippery with no handrails). One piece of advice: if you decide go go through the waterfall at the end, as we did, you will get drenched so bring an extra set of clothes because we were drenched where our raincoats didn’t cover us. There was a lot of travel time on the bus, but the scenery was so beautiful that it was fine.

We were at the Bus Stop 8 at 8.35 19/6/24 for our 9.00 as per our email from Catvia, I have emails to say as I had paid I did not need to tel the day before (As a matter of fact I did!)
The day before even though I have emails from Bus Travel as I had paid in full , this was the only way I could look at where the pickup was ( which I paid extra!)
I telephoned and said we were at the next port and would be there the following day
At 7.00 until the 8.00 driver left I co Stanton tel. BT no answer just the answering machine, if someone e had answered….
At 8.00 as soon as our ship docked we asked the security guards and the people there where the bus stop as shown on our email was, we were told get on the shuttle bus which goes directly to Bys Stop 8 and meet the bus. We did ( have photos)
When we got off the bus there were 2 Bus Travel mini buses waiting, we walked over, spoke to the driver as his bus was going to the same place, however, his bus was the 8.00 he tel. Bus Travel gave our details, declined for us to join his bus , even though his passengers had not turned up!! he said STAY RIGHT there for your 9.00 bus we did, we have photos, but BT didn’t show and we met other
At around 9.15 BT telephoned ?where are you?, I said where we were, he says we were too late I offered to take a taxi but no!!
I then telephoned BT twice and both people said the 8.00 driver was negligent in his duties and should have done more
Today after over 40 emails from either BT or Viator, V have offered 27% refund of £176.00!!
Then today Alvaro emailed said no refund, and they had sent an email on the 18th
I did not have WiFi as sailing is too expensive
Over the past days I have sent and replied to so many people all saying it was my fault
Catvia sent me the email BUSStop 8 that is where we were
On our cruise ship in the evening we met several other people who had booked with V and Bus for the 19th but for the Golden Circle and guess what, Correct no show!!
We were distraught, pouring rain our day ruined
So we had no choice but to travel on the next shuttle bus to Rekyavik, and try and enjoy. We spent £68 entrance fee into Perlman museum and £15.00 on a taxi
When we returned the bus drove past the bus stop 8, turned the corner and there was our ship
Even if the BT had been at the ship we could have walked/he could have picked us up, but no.
I have multiple photos, pre 19th emails from both companies, Bus Stop 8 where all the tours go from, the only tour buses in the secure area were P&O tours
It’s ok BT saying look at the map, we have never been there, many ports we visit, the ship shuttle us takes the passengers outside the dock gates where taxis and private tours pick up from
There were no clear instructions , just do not be late
We were not late, reviews say pick ups can run 40 mins late, which when the 8.00 left (STAY RIGhT there! We were told I didn’t think that I needed to keep telephoning BT I just thought the 8.00 driver had done all he could
We are 76 and 78 never get the opportunity to go to Iceland
So BT this trip was meant to be the place we could see where our future son in law proposed to our daughter
I just wish like the other 19th June bookings had booked with another company
I have spent hours and hours, trecking in the rain when we should have been enjoying the tour of a lifetime
Viator check this company please, accept responsibility and please refund

Our guide Geri and driver Aron were great. The ride was comfortable and the sides were amazing. We had plenty of time at each spot. .Our guide was very informative. I would highly recommend this tour. The waterfall and the glacier were amazing sites

Adimiravel, so nao foi melhor pq o dia estava chuvoso! Linda, rica, exuberante e diversa a natureza na Islandia! Um excelente guia como o Gueri faz toda a diferença pois ele é muito competente, rico em conteúdo , preocupado com a segurança de todos, muito solicito e atencioso! Motorista também muito competente!

Geri and Aaron were fabulous. We had so much fun. Geri shared so much valuable information and we found ourselves more curious about Icelands natural wonders. I was impressed with their grace handling a challenging situation with a difficult passenger. Thank you for the adventure.

Excellent trip. Jennifer is a fun, informative and energetic tour guide. Get ready for a lenghy bus ride (1.5-2hrs to get to the locations, but then it’s all short trips after that), but that’s just the nature of where things are relative to pickup in Reykjavík. Not the tour’s fault - as they make the ride fun and informative the whole way. Defintely ask if Jennifer can be your tour guide. This trip is great. Highly recommend it
