Discover three of the most beautiful sites of Western Sicily: Segesta, Nubia and the Salt Pans in Trapani and the Mediavial hill-top town of Erice.

Our tour guide and bus driver were very friendly and knowledgeable. I don't remember the abilty rating for this tour but it kicked our butts! It was 90° and everything is uphill. Luckily we were able to get water at Segesta and Erice to help us through. But I would definitely recommend doing some research on the layout of each location. The views were beautiful, the history was interesting, and the people were friendly. Note that you do need to pay an entrance and shuttle gee for Segesta, I wasn't aware of that but might have missed it in the description. I would definitely recommend as long as you are prepared to hike around. We had 2 hrs to explore at Segesta and 2 hrs to explore Erice and 15 mins at the Salt Pans.

We had a great day exploring Segesta and Erice!
Would definitely recommend this tour.
A suggestion for the tour is to remove the salt pans visit and increase the time in Erice.

Good planning and great communication about keeping us informed. Comfy buses
a reasonably good guide.
Segeste and Erice has a lot of stuff for sightseeing. Not much in Trapani.
Will do this again. Better to do this trip rather than drive on your own.

The guides did not provide critical information on how to get some of the Greek ruins in Segesta. We were not told that a bus could take us to this site (3/4 mile away uphill). We had two hours at the site and did not discover this until it was too late so did not get to see them. Later, when we visited the Trapani salt pans, they provided no information on how the salt pans worked.

Great way to visit the 3 sites with no fuss. Guide should be more firm on times people need to return to the bus. People that did not return promptly made it so that we did not get to spend as much time in Erice.

This is basically just a transfer between sites. When we bought the tickets it said there was hotel pick up but this was not the case with just the one meeting point.
The road to Erice was closed because of a motor race. This would have been known in advance but was not communicated. We had to use the cable car to get there at our own expense of 8 Euros a person. Looking back through previous reviews I see this has happened before.
There was not enough time at Segusta to fully appreciate the site, we are quite fit but still had to walk quickly and missed a few things because of time

We had a great day with an amazing guide who gave us a lot of insight into the areas that we visited which were amazing..I gave a 4 because we were a bit disappointed with the salt pans in that we had 15 mins to take pictures etc. The day went smoothly and started and ended on time

Well organised with an excellent, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide in the shape of Joshua. A wonderful taster for the jewel that is Sicily.

The Greek ruins and setting were spectacular. Wish we had more time at the amphitheater part of Segestra . Very good and friendly driver particularly on twisty mountain roads

Apart from the Salines which have little interest, Segesta and Erice are really worth lingering there despite the wind and the cold.
