Tucked under the tawny skirts of formidable foothills about 15kms/9.3 miles north of Cusco as the condor flies, via a narrow road and hairpin turns, the Sacred Valley holds its head high. The valley has long been the home of attractive colonial towns, handicraft markets and lofty 10th and 11th century Inca Citadels of Pisac, Ollyantaytambo and Urubumba.
Visiting the Salt Mines and Moray terraces which were made by building containment walls filled with fertile earth. They were watered through a complex irrigation system. At the base of the terraces, there is a rain water storage system.

We did all 4 days private tour with Jean Piere (JP) to sacred valley, machu picchu, rainbow moutain and also cusco city tour. Everything was very well organized by Sam Travel Peru. JP took such good care of us during the whole trip, he also was very well prepared, he got every essentials things just incase anything happens, from medicine, first aid kit, he even provided me oxegen during my hike due to my altitude sickness. It was very impressive. Apart from that JP knowledge about everything Peru is amazing, he will tell you all the history of the incas, all the rocks, the best spot in machu picchu for photos, where to eat good food, where to shop good quality vicuna and royal baby alpaca. It is truly a trip of my lifetime. I will def recommend you to request to go with JP if you like to explore peru in both adventure way and cultural way.

I went with my mum to Manchu Pichu. Carlos was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and informative, he explained all of the history of the Incas in Manchu Pichu. He guided us along the Inca trail to the sun gate and it was the most beautiful and scenic experience I have ever had. We also had the tour of Machu Pichu. Carlos and Sam Travel had the whole trip organised perfectly with no issues or delays, all tickets were ready for us and everything was on time. I would highly recommend Sam Travel and Carlos for the best Mach Pichu experience.

We throughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it. The short Inca trail was stunning and our guide Carlos was friendly and very informative. This tour is For those who want to walk part of the Inca trail and also experience Machu Picchu. We loved it!
