Dare to discover two jewels of Colonial Mexico and discover why Cuernavaca is considered the city of eternal spring and admire Taxco, a picturesque corner of cobblestone streets and silver mines that will make you fall in love.

Our tour starts with a view of Cuernavaca, a city with a cool and warm climate close to Cdmx that has exuberant vegetation and is recognized as the Beverly Hills of Mexico. You will visit incredible attractions such as the Palacio de Cortés built at the time of the conquest, the main Cathedral and the Monument of Morelos, etc.

After visiting this beautiful city, enjoy the scenery while continuing to Taxco. This small city, with its cobbled streets, shaded squares and vibrant markets, was once known throughout the world as the City of La Plata. After lunch (optional) there will be plenty of time to explore this bustling city and you can buy jewelry before boarding the bus that will take you back to Mexico City.

This trip was worth every penny. Our Driver Aaron and Sergio our guide were so professional, respectful and full of knowledge.

We drove into Cuernavaca for a quick stop at their cathedral. Also to get fruits from the local vendors.

Then we went to Taxco ! OMG this place is one of the kind , full of history, little shops, restaurants and many other things.

Overall a great experience.

One suggestion, include in your budget extra $20 to tip the driver and guide. It will make a difference in their life’s and won’t left us broke.

Taxco super recommended, I loved it; Cuernavaca, well, what I saw did not meet my expectations, perhaps because it was just passing through. I suggest that the cities' baseboard be added; The driver and guide were very attentive, I congratulate Carlos the guide, his explanation was very good, everything was very pleasant. Very respectful, the restaurant they chose in Taxco recommended, In a single day you don't know well. If I would use their services again.

Taxco is a nice silver mining and jewelry town, but not worth the 6 hr drive. Cuernavaca was not inspiring.

Friendly helpful guide, beautiful towns. Worry -free since they take care of the driving and tolls. Time to shop and walk around on our own.

In overall it's a nice day trip from Mexico City. Taxco is a lovely town. Cuernavaca is not so interesting, but I understand why they made the stop there, because it's a long drive to taxco.

Although the Taxco is very nice, I didn't feel there was a lot of content at the trip and that's why it gets from me 4 stars out of 5. When we arrived to Taxco we got a small explanation about silver and then we got 30 minutes to walk around at a jewelry store. It's pretty obvious that the agency gets a commission if someone buys anything. Then we had up to the center of the town and got some explanations on the way. It was maybe 30 minutes. Then we were being led to a restaurant to eat. Then we got really short explanation on the main church and got 2 hours free at town. So all in all it's a nice trip from Mexico city if you have spare time, but feels that they could put more content to it.

Taxco is a beautiful old town. I loved wandering around the hilly streets. Bought some silver jewellery from one on the many silver stores. The place we were taken to was very expensive, but others were reasonable. Make sure to check for the 925 stamp. Also we skipped the restaurant we were taken to (expensive) and got a taco elsewhere. Worth the trip.
