Good experience the private car and the fact that you have a driver and a guide. BUT they are committed ti scams. They take you to shops and try to trick you for tgeir commission. This is not about the specific activity but is something all over the tourist narket.

That was an amazing trip, we enjoyed every moment. Guide and driver arrived in time then drove seamlessly trough the city. The guide had superb knowledge of history of Egypt escorted us in our pace at all time, gave us a lot of opportunity to make pictures or asking questions.

Our guide Hosam was really informative and helpful during our tour. We were given really great importance every step of the tour. During the day we were given around 3 bottles of cold water per person, which was appreciated. A car and a guide is essential during hot weather days. Saqqara and memphis visits are a must for anyone. We were skeptical that tour guide's english would be a problem but we fully understood all details.

This is one of the most educational, friendly, courteous, professional and safe trip I have encountered during a tour. From our knowledgeable tour guide Osama with 21 years experience, if you are a history buff, request him as your tour guide. He took care of my elderly mom which was greatly appreciated and captured great memories. Ibrahim was the driver who provided excellent service as well. Both went above and beyond to make our trip most enjoyable. Make sure to choose Emo tours and request Osama and Ibrahim as your guide. You will enjoy your time immensely.

I did this tour with my girlfriend, in February. I don't know about the other guides, but we got Mira, and if you happen to you to choose this service, make sure not to have her.
Immediately Mira discouraged us from doing the activities we wanted to do, like go inside the Pyramid and visit other parts of the sites.
But the thing that showed how impolite and unprofessional she was happened in the front of the big Pyramid, almost at the beginning of the tour. I distracted myself a second to make a picture and she rudely remarked: "Do you wanna lead, or shall you let me lead the tour?" To such a sentence I replied immediately highlighting her unprofessional attitude, and I personally felt she ruined my first acquaintance with the Giza valley. Instead of saying sorry, she kept excusing herself, and I almost stopped the tour, if it wasn't for the respect I have for my girlfriend.
She tried to talk with me later but the damage was done.
Also, nothing was natural and spontaneous, nothing was a real act of courtesy or kindness: Everything was fake to have some tips later.
If you choose this service...at your risk: make sure not to have her.

The pyramids themselves are incredible. Amazing opportunity. However, our guide rushed us through the pyramids only to take us to other sites that we did not want to include. He gave us 5 minutes (literally) at sites like the Sphinx and Saqqara, only to take take us to a papyrus shop where he and one of the managers pressured us for nearly an hour to buy papyrus that we had no interest in buying. He then took us an “Egyptian cotton” shop, which was hardly a quality operation - bunch of it was knock-off imitation of luxury brands (e.g. Gucci products that were clearly not authentic Gucci). He wanted to take us to another store (aromatherapy), but we insisted that we had no interest. All in all, we probably spent 90 minutes touring pyramids of what was supposed to be a six hour tour. The vast majority of the time was either driving (which is fine - there is obviously a distance between the three sites) or spent at these side hustles that were of no interest to us. He was also very blatant about pressuring us for a tip. I planned to tip him and the driver well anyway, but he was insistent. Maybe that is a cultural thing, but it struck me as rude. I have booked tours through Viator in various parts of the world, and most of them have been at least decent. While, the sites were amazing, this tour was an incredible disappointment. We tipped him and the driver well anyway. It should be noted that the driver was very polite and gracious, even though he spoke no English or Spanish, the two languages that we speak.

This is one of those must-do experiences. Our guide was great all day. I am giving this 4 stars to help warn others. Be careful when you are not told how much something will cost and even when you are told how much it will cost. On this tour, we got head scarves. I asked how much and the man said don't worry. We got charged nearly $30, when you can get these same scarves for so much less (a couple dollars at other markets). That one is not as big of a deal. Our guide told us how much a camel ride would cost and took us to a "trusted" partner of their company. Our guide also told us that tipping was based on what we wanted to tip and that we should never be told how much to tip. So we are on camels seeing the pyramids and it is amazing. The camel guide separates my husband from me and then tells my husband that he has to help take care of his family and that he needs $100. Keep in mind that this all-day tour was $60, so $100 for a 15-minute portion seems obscene. Then when we got back to the hotel, our guide asked us to pay him for the camel ride. We had to tell him what happened. We heard our tour guide call the camel guy and yell at him on the phone, but we were out all of that money (and toward the beginning of our trip). This is a tour that everyone should do, but we learned the hard way that you cannot trust anyone. Be prepared!

Well what can I say about this tour! They take you around the pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Memphis and the pyramids of Saqqara! You can chose to go inside at Saqqara which is amazing in its own right. The food was amazing! Although I did say a tour recently did excessive shops these guys kept it to a minimum and awesome shops were included too. Thank you Emo Tours 😊

If all attractions in Cairo and Egypt close at 4 PM, you should not have the 11 o’clock departure available because the touristic guide was rushing me all over because he had a list of things they wanna show me and we were short on time so I had to go back again today to the pyramids and I paid 1000 Egyptian lira to see them again. This was a quick quick rush tour. Driver was fast on bumpy roads, car was small, with tiny windows I was seated in a back of a four doors sedan car. The guide proposed me a camel ride that cost me $15 extra on the $61 you took for me. I think that’s the way a lot of money for this kind of tour in this kind of city. This is not Dubai. This is just Cairo.
