Food tour was really 2 meals. The meals were very good. Was scheduled to have a beer tasting at Dickie Mack’s brewery. Guide left waiting with group for an hour for brewery guide. She never showed because she was waiting for a plumber!!!! Guide poured two beer samples. Went on to a fish and chips then off for ice cream. It was getting late and needed to go to a shop before closing so left tour at Murphy’s ice cream stop. Did not stay for mixed drink offered.
Guide was personable. Needed help with managing a tight group on tour into integrating with whole group.
Would have liked to hear about Dingle shop/building/area history. As described in advertising. Only reference was to oldest not functioning pub as we walked by and 200 year old building for brewery.
Stops with snack size plates would be more in line with other food tours from Viator and other groups.

While the tour was undeniably pleasant and benefited greatly from Dylan's local knowledge, we couldn't help but feel that it was a bit on the pricey side. Despite this, the unique experience of having a local guide and the quality of the food and drink made it a memorable afternoon in Dingle.

This tour was fabulous! Our guide Dylon was an absolute gem. He was so knowledgeable about the history, culture, and food, as well as just being an absolute stand up person. All of the drinks and food were delicious too.

Dylan Thomas was a spectacular food guide. Our family adored his stories and we really enjoyed the locations that we visited. Go in the afternoon and your tour will count as lunch and dinner that day.

Tour guide was great, very friendly, and personable. He offered unique information and stories that we may have not otherwise learned. The food was great and it was awesome to have a Dingle local as our guide.

Our guide was lovely, informative, and easy to chat with. But he’d not been given important information (nor had anyone at the company read our notes - we had a vegetarian and a child, but this was really a beer tour). If they had told him this, we feel he could have made a plan.

There is very little food on this tour, mostly beer. We’ve done food tours in several places and really enjoyed them. This was just a plate of fish and chips, basic wings, and a scoop ice cream. None of it was local or cultural or showcased Dingle. Typical food tours talk about local specialities, explain the history of the food, and the like and I’m usually stuffed. We went home and made dinner.

It was way too expensive for what we got.

Our tour guide Dylan was absolutely wonderful with his knowledge of history and the local culture. Keep in mind this is more of a beer tasting tour rather than a food tour. It was wonderful to connect with other travelers and to learn from Dylan. Well done! Also great to hear from the local brewer. It felt very intimate and not commercialized.
