We didn’t want sunrise nor sunset tour and this fits our schedule perfectly. It’s flexible and Mr Sothea was very patient and an experienced tour guide. His English is understandable and he shared a lot of interesting insights about the temples he brought us to. The cold water and towels after each temple tour was welcoming in this hot weather.

We booked a private 7 hour "The Ultimate Angkor Wat Temple Day Trip" through WithLocals and chose Lux (Ngoun) for our guide. Since we could customize our tour, we asked to visit both Angkor Wat and Ta Prom and Lux said that wasn't a problem. Lux was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia and the temples, and the description of the private customizable tour was for 7 hrs. He pointed out a lot of small details we would have completely missed (e.g. the different hairstyles on the carvings).
The only disappointment was that we booked a 7 hr private customizable tour, but our tour ended at 5 hrs. Lux explained that it was because we customized the tour and went to Ta Prom as well as Angkor Wat. It just would've been good to know that upfront rather than leaving us with the tuktuk driver after 5 hours.

Had a great visit to the main temples with our tour guide explaining a lot of the history as we went. Nak, our tour guide, was very friendly and was always happy to take photos along the way to help us remember our experience.
We felt the tour was thorough and visiting the 3 sites in one day is a fantastic way to experience some of the many incredible temples that Cambodia has to offer.
Starting early to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat is a great option because later in the day it can be quite hot, though our tour guide had plenty of cool water available.
Overall a great experience.

Lux, tailored our tour to fit our needs. From the moment I began communicating with him, he was responsive and worked with us to get our tour organized and ready to go for the day after our arrival. I delayed booking, but with Lux, he made everything happen anyway and was very kind and patient. He answered all of my questions and then some.
He was the best tour guide. He is fluent in English. He is knowledgeable with other countries and cultures and this adds to the breath of his knowledge when it comes to what he shares on the tour itself. He knows his country, loves it, takes pride in it, and is thankful to have visitors to show it to. That’s how you’ll feel when your tour is done.
He goes out of his way by bringing a cooler of ice cold waters and the car is always ready and waiting with the air condition on. Thank you Thea, our driver! A big plus after a long time in extreme heat. Cambodia is hot. He will take pictures for you.
He’s flexible. Outstanding. We will hire him again if we are blessed enough to come back. We will recommend him to all of our friends.

We only had 4 hours in Siem Reap and we certainly could not have asked for a better guide. Excellent English! Great knowledge! We accomplished a whole lot in those 4 hours.

Had an excellent day guided by Lux. Informative and engaging tour, kept 4 adults and 4 children (age 10 to 14) interested. Great lunch stop, plenty of cold water available. Lux was also very flexible to meet our needs. Would highly recommend.

We were guided for the day by Lux from Around Cambodia. He was knowledgeable, interesting and interested, spoke English perfectly and was great fun to be with. On the first day we did the sunrise tour with other temples and on the second, a tour of Tonle Sap and Kulen Mountain Waterfalls. He seemed to know how to avoid all the crowds and take us to parts where other tourists weren’t venturing. We learnt loads, not just about Angkor Wot but also about Cambodian history and current culture. And also how to take better pictures on our iPhones!!! We would not hesitate to use him again.

Really great experience, thank you to Jack for being a knowledgeable, energetic and funny tour guide! You really get more out of the complex when you are with somebody who can explain Cambodian history and the religious meaning of the temples. Highly recommend!
