This 10 day tour of Ireland with Seamus as our guide was absolutely fantastic. We visited small villages and large towns; were blown away by the natural beauty of the whole Emerald Isle and particularly places like the Cliffs of Mohr and the Giant’s Causeway; learned about the fascinating and resonant history of Ireland through visits to picturesque ruins and restored castles, as well as through walking tours with knowledgable locals. The accommodation and breakfasts were great (I paid the single supplement and always had a large room with at least a double bed) - and on one night there was a special luxurious treat.
Our guide Seamus was brilliant - a consummate professional - thoughtful, generous, knowledgable and funny, he skilfully and graciously kept the group informed and the show on the road. He was a great driver too - it felt very safe and comfortable on the 16 seat bus. I thoroughly recommend both the tour and Seamus as a guide.

We saw it all - castles, gardens, cliffs, wild coastline, single track roads, lots of sheep and cows, and historic towns. From the climb to Cashel Rock to the tour of NewGrange, explanations and preparations were well planned and executed. Seamus was our amazing driver and tour guide. As we followed the itinerary, he regaled us with humorous stories and Irish history while answering innumerable questions. Highly recommend this 10 day tour.

My family and I did the 10-day Ultimate tour with Mark ending last week. It was a full 10 days of experiencing Ireland! Seeing so many beautiful sites, driving so many miles, making so many memories! Mark was an excellent tour guide and driver…kind, fun, attentive, thoughtful…always thinking steps ahead to make sure that we transitioned from one activity to the next without any hiccups. Even when he had a concern from home on his heart, it never distracted him from his care of our group. The most difficult part of this review is choosing which photos to share. Ireland is a beautiful country and this tour gave us a great sample of all that Ireland has to offer. If we never make it back, I’m grateful that we were able to do and see so much. If we do make it back, then now we know where/what we would like to spend more time on. Thank you, Mark, and thank you, Overland!

We had a fantastic time on our trip throughout Ireland. The schedule was varied and flexible with ample amounts of Irish culture, natural beauty, and history. Our tour guide Mark was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful and added tremendously to our experience. I would definitely do this all over again.

We just completed the 10 Day Ultimate Tour and had a great time! We knew that it would be somewhat whirlwind, but a great overview of the country. Our guide, Seamus, is a very talented and enthusiastic guide who kept everyone on track and kept things moving along so we could take advantage of all the tour had to offer. We enjoyed all of the accommodations.
Overland Ireland markets to vegans, vegetarians etc. However, Seamus was not advised beforehand that my husband and I have a vegan diet. He did a great job calling ahead to planned restaurants to be sure we would have options on the menu. We really appreciated this extra effort. He even discovered, on his own, the Happy Cow app which allows one to search for veggie options. We really appreciated his attention to our needs, as well as those of everyone in our group though I wish there had been communication from the main office to Seamus before the tour began.
The tour itself was great, made even been by an enthusiastic guide (Seamus!) who obviously loves his country. He has many great stories to share! Ireland is a beautiful country and we look forward to returning again in the future.

The Overland Ultimate small group tour we took in June 2024 was terrific. Our group meshed very well, which made it super enjoyable. Our Guide, Mark, was very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, positive, and has a great sense of humor. He kept us informed of our itinerary each day, including any changes or options we had. We loved all the sites we visited which included history, culture, scenic landscapes, and fun activities. All of the guides at the various venues were also very good. We were pleased with the accommodations, in fact in most cases they far exceeded our expectations. Ireland is a great place to visit, and Overland made sure that we were comfortable and our itinerary was filled with great stuff. We would highly recommend Overland.

I have done many large bus tours of european countries. I can't say enough about the small bus as opposed to the large one. You get a total different experience. Getting to know this group of people, interact with the tour director, and see and visit so many places . Sheamus, tour director, provided a scenic and informative insight to Ireland. I have recommended this tour to many already.

When I was planning to travel to Ireland for 2 weeks with my Mom, I wanted to see as many places as possible without planning. Looking at the options I stumbled upon Overland Ireland and decided to book since it was a small group. I could not be more pleased with the tour, we went to some of the most beautiful places I would have never thought of going to. I completely fell in love with Ireland and cannot wait to go back. Our tour guide Seamus was amazing and exceeded expectations. Seamus is so knowledgeable about all the places we traveled to. He is so engaging, helpful and humorous (kudos to him for putting up with my sarcastic personality)!

My husband and I have always avoided group tours. We decided to take a chance with Overland and we were very pleasantly surprised. The 10 day tour gave us a great sampling of Ireland highlights.
We were fortunate to have Mark as our tour guide. He took great care of the group. He's a wealth of knowledge and was very accommodating to the groups needs/wants. He even snuck in a few extra highlights that were awesome additions.
