Drive on the Bosphorus Bridge from Europe to Asia. Visit to the highest point Camlica Hill to enjoy the breathtaking views of the city with seven hills. Visit to the most lavishly furnished 19th century Ottoman Sultan's summer residence of Beylerbeyi Palace. The Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill. Both were beautiful places to learn of some of the history on the Asian side of Istanbul. I enjoyed them both. Also the market place. What I did not enjoy was the rip-off at the restaurant that was recommended by the tour guide. It was the most expensive lunch for 2 people I have ever had in the world, $124.91. I don't recommend going with the tour recommendation on where to eat lunch. I was very surprised and disappointed and felt it was geared to take advantage of tourists who obviously don't know any better. Sad but true.

I had a lovely day with Gurcen! He was on time, his English was good, he was accommodating and eager to take me to all of the places I want to go. He laid out a tour route and suggested something I hadn't listed. There was no hurry or stress of any kind. Communicating with him electronically made everything flow smoothly. I recommend him as he is a good guide and a friendly and enjoyable person. Janie from New Orleans
