Very informative tour from a knowledgeable guide (Rory) who gave a really good idea how they go about manufacturing whisky and all the elements that go towards creating flavours. Definitely different from your usual whisky tour as they are creating different varieties of whisky and liqueur. Nice building to visit as well.

We have done similar sorts of tours and tastings before and this one was among the very best. The guide did a fantastic job and the tour was great--we were right in the midst of the action. The process was very clearly explained and the tasty was well done. This distillery likes to try lots of different things in addition so that was interesting and unique.

We were disappointed to have only tried one kind of whiskey, and it was peaty one which we don't really like. We would have liked to taste the newly released whiskey which wasn't made available - as a result, we didn't buy any which was also disappointing.

Tour with approximate explanations, perhaps more oriented to promote the distillates for sale in the shop than a knowledge of the production process. Apart from the equipment dedicated to the washing phase, you see very little. Modern and charmless distillery.

Even though I’m not a whisky drinker I found David’s talk very interesting, my husband enjoyed both the talk and the tastings. Well worth going.
