I’ve listed all the things I love and hate from this experience.
1. The tour operator changed our schedule on the very same day of our reservation. We booked a 9am tour, but was told that they will pick us up at 10:15am instead.
2. The description said that the tour includes hotel pick up, but Karina sent as a meeting location instead. We had to take an Uber going to the pick up point.
3. The transportation was horrible! The driver (Jonathan) did not communicate well with the passengers. We had to go back to a certain hotel more than once and had to make a few manuevers to pick up other travelers.
4. We had fun on the excursion itself except for some misleading facts. The cave was very small with a lot of people swimming and was very dark inside. The ATVs do need a lot of maintenance and checking. Our ATV stalled out more than 4x and was really a hassle because of the people waiting behind. The tour guide reminded to always try to stick together but the broken ATVs made it impossible to do so.
5. Before heading back to the hotel, we asked the driver if he can drop us back to our hotel instead of the pick up location. He agreed and said okay. However, he stopped on our pick up location which was not our hotel and just signalled us to get out of the truck without saying anything.

Awesome experience, fun and Gibson our tour guide was very aware of safety. The Macao beach was breathtaking.

The tour itself and the guide were phenomenal. when we got to the Dominican culture part of the tour for chocolate and coffee tasting, the original description is misleading. The gave us a 5 min. presentation of how both coffee and chocolate are made and the samples were 3 1oz cups of chocolate, coffee, and tea, then everyone tries to sell you stuff if you say “no thank you” they will politely stop and won’t pressure you into buying. The cigars were fantastic, the cave was amazing, and the ATV ride to the beach was fun through offroads with lots of mud pot holes. The down fall to the ATV was mine and others in the group stalled out a couple of times but there is always a mechanic following and got us up in running in less than a min. There is several people that take pictures through the tour while riding and at the cave/ beach and you can purchase the pictures for $80 and they are high quality. The only down side from it having a 5 star review was our transportation back to the hotel was over an hour late, and the staff didn’t know what was going on but helped us through it. Overall a great time.

Great trip, fun experience, got to see the country side. The cave was nice, we didn't take a swim... the beach was beautiful. Our guides were great, safety oriented. Expect the locals to get you to buy souvenirs. Read several reviews about the photo package....I just figure this on the total package price when I book excursions..... expensive, but worth it if you want the pictures. Glad we booked it. Only complain we have is there was one couple and their adult children....kids were great, couple did nothing but complain loudly and was very rude, thankfully someone cranked up the music to drown out all their complaining!!!

Messy so be prepared to wear clothes you do not mind getting ruined but wow is that fun. So worth it and the tour is a good amount of time, great value for the cost.

Won’t knock your socks off, it’s okay, not a great experience. You get to go to a very nice beach but only get 20 mins to swim. You have 3-4 stops and every time you stop, you are constantly asked to buy something. While on the 4x4’s, you are told to stay in line, you can not pass anyone in line. While I understand it’s for safety reasons, we unfortunately were stuck behind someone who had trouble keeping up with the group and we were not allowed to go in front of that person.
Not a bad excursion, but wouldn’t really recommend it.

The trip was fun. Kids had fun.
The trip included the usual side bar to local vendors to encourage buying stuff of marginal value.
The most enjoyable part was reaching an exceptional beach, but that part of the trip was limited to 30 minutes. There was constant pressure to keep to a time table.
The people were nice. The photo package (optional) was wildly overpriced but I still did it.
Overall, a fun experience.

La actividad completa vale la pena diversión variada y el equipo de la haciendo muy cortes y servicial. Lo recomiendo al 100% un día completo de entretenimiento...y el buffet de comida Dominicana 👏 . Y no menos importante terminamos el día en un Río muy bonito y el agua temperatura excelente.
