Cooking instructor was not very enthusiastic and was vaping outside while we prepared meal. He seemed very uninterested in teaching and not very engaging. Made pasta but never showed us how to make sauce. sauce was prepared ahead of time.

Marco is an amazing chef and the whole experience was awesome!! It was very special to cook authentic Italian pasta and tiramisu with the best view of Florence!! Highly recommended

My daughter and I were so excited to take a cooking class in Florence. The food was delicious and we enjoyed getting to know the other travelers. However, some things didn’t meet our expectations. We expected a small group of 10 as said in the description, yet there were 17 people in our group. There was not enough room when preparing the food as you are working on small, make-shift tables.
It should be noted that it is an indoor-outdoor kitchen and there is no A/C and one small fan. It was over 90 degrees both inside and outside, making for an uncomfortable experience. Eating on the terrace has a beautiful view, but there is no shade or umbrellas, so it was hard to enjoy our food in the heat.
It was nice that they offered wine, but it was warm and my daughter was not offered anything but warm water as well.
We expected a casual, fun class, yet chef Simon took things too seriously for our group. His corrections came across as rude, not helpful. Simon left before the end of our class as he had another obligation.
Overall, I would say find a different class.

The hostess was amazing. We learned much about Italian cooking but also about the Italian lifestyle. She gave us great recommendations for where to eat in Florence as well. Three of the couples that were at the class ended up at the recommended restaurant and gelataria later that night. Breathtaking views as well, one of the best spots in the city to see the views.

I had to cancel my booked experience, which their policy says you can do up to 24 hours before the scheduled time and receive a full refund. I tried canceling more than two months in advance, but they refused to help me cancel and refund me. I called first, and the person responded saying they were busy at the moment, but would cancel as soon as the class they were teaching was over. A week later nothing had happened, so I emailed them at the provided email address. After a week of waiting, I got no response through email. I tried calling again, this time the person said I would be able to cancel if I texted them through WhatsApp. After texting through WhatsApp, someone replied saying they are unable to cancel on their end but that I am able to cancel online and that they would approve my cancelation request. I checked online and it said my booking was unable to be canceled online and that I should email or call. I replied back on WhatsApp showing a screenshot where it said I was unable to cancel, but they never replied back. Fortunately, because I payed through PayPal, I was able to dispute the charge and PayPal was able to successfully close the case in my favor and return a full refund to me. Just a warning for anyone who may have to cancel an experience with this business in the future.

This class was so much fun! It is very approachable for all cooking skill levels. The view in-person was as amazing as the pictures. Margarita is so knowledgeable and a great teacher!

Horrible horrible experience. We showed up to the meeting point for our tour to find out a private bachelorette class was scheduled at the same time, and that we were no longer able to do the class. We booked on their website as well. As our last day in Florence and booking months in advance it was very very disappointing. Wish we had some notice before showing up to the class. Don’t recommend.

This is a must do if you are in the area. We had a fantastic time in the class, and hanging out with the other folks in the group. Our host did an excellent job (I think she went by Daisy). The location is second to non as is the overall organization.
